My goofy Skecher sneakers came in yesterday and...

Holy crap do I love these sneakers! I don't care if they look retarded--they feel FANTASTIC! I have a bum knee and I can no longer fully extend my right leg to walk normally. Well, the minute I put these shoes on I was able to just go with it...and I mean within the minute! They came pre-laced with white laces with a spare black set. They have little sparkle dots on them near the holes where the laces go that I didn't even notice until the sun hit them, and I do so love shiny things!

Now, if I can only convince the "Muck Boot Co." to put these soles on their farm boots, I would be in heaven! I have a feeling these sneakers of mine are going to be well used, as I already did chores in them because they made me feel so good! HUGE difference for someone who has a lot of pain and that whole "loss of range of motion" thing going on.

Oh--forgot to add, these puppies come in WIDE, which is a huge bonus for hard to fit piddies like mine. I normally wear a 10 regular, but ordered these over the phone (catalog order) and just took a chance by ordering a 9-1/2 wide. Perfect fit! Again, I ordered through Roamans printed catalog (they still don't show them on their website yet, just checked to make it easier), which I get because I'm a bit of a fatty at 5'9" 190 pounds and size 16/18 and have a hard time finding clothes/shoes that fit...and I don't own stock in either company or anything, so I'm not getting any money to say these things.

I'm aleady thinking about socking a little away each week to save up for a "Sunday-go-meeting" pair for those fancy occasions.

and I, too, can overlook that they are ugly because they are so darn comfortable! (I also like the sparkly part.) Finally, I do wish they made muck boots with these soles, as well. Maybe we should write to Skechers and suggest that they come out with a muck version :P

Flip flops too! Wow! Maybe this will be the start of something and hopefully the prices will come down with it...like those godawful croc things....and yes, I will make fun of anyone who wears them because I don't discriminate.

I bought the Sketchers Mary Janes last Christmas. I was having so much pain with plantar fascitis and a heel spur I could hardly walk. I tried on the regular tennis shoe style and the Mary Janes and the Mary Janes seemed to have more cushion in the footbed so I went with them. I love them and I could walk again.

I got my flip-flops at K-Mart - I'm sure they are not Sketchers, probably a knock-off, but I still love them!

Mine are white and gray leather with pink piping and extra pair of pink laces. I went for a 2 mile walk and it was awesome. I felt like my calves and thighes really got a good workout.

They are so comfy and I felt like I was walking on cushions of air. I just kept bouncing up and down when I put them on.

I have flat feet and very wide feet and these shoes felt fabulous!

Hayseed... great to see you... Anyway I have actually 2 questions: 1. Sketchers has the different color ones for kids, I want a pair but are those wild designs available for adults, say size 6-1/2? Also the ones you have are called shape ups. I heard they help in that they are like exercising. I stayed away from them b/c I thought they might hurt like exercise might (like walking on sand). Plus I am scared to ask... price range for those and the mary janes (I like to wear sundresses and I think mary janes would be cool). Thanks for the pix. I want a pair!

I changed shoes in the car between stores so I could try them and I love them! After I got home and sat down and relaxed, my legs felt like I had just worked out, and as I sit here after my shower, they feel even more like it. If they do anything for my legs, that will be great, but I just need something to help with my back pain.
