If you do not insult a specific poster you can say whatever you want about the politicians as long as it is not an outright horrible name. Tpub was offense to some - and there is no such thing, you're either part of the tea party movement or you're a republican, but the people who wanted to call others tpubs were doing the most griping that they could not use that. So it was decided T-pub would stay and commie could stay. These are politicians and whatever they do is deserving of what they are called, but going after individual posters was not okay.
