This particular pair is from Skechers, but I've seen cheaper knockoffs (but even $50 to me is not cheap!). They are called "Shape Ups" and have a neato looking sole onto them. I have a blown out knee that is never going to get better because I can't afford surgery. I was thinking these looked incredibly comfortable for gimping around in.
I actually snagged a little old lady wearing a pair similar to these the other day. I told her I LOVED her awesome-looking sneakers and her face just lit right up. She told me hers were by Dr. Scholls and she said she found them in Sears on sale for just under $50 and LOVED them. She told me she has bad arthritis and these were the first pair of shoes she could wear and not be in pain all the time.
So, that was just one opinion I got and I was wondering if any of you guys were brave enough to try them yet.

TO Hayseed:
Mind if I ask you a question that is off topic?
I have been trying to figure out how to get pictures into the MTStars posts, but nothing I do seems to work.
Would you be willing to give me some step-by-step instructions (please be kind – sometimes my brain takes a vacation and I need simple directions to follow)?
You can Email me, if that is easier.
Thank you so much for any help you are willing to pass on.
By the way, I am 60 years old and have been wearing Sketchers for a couple of years, but not these particular Sneakers (grandkids got me into them). I will have to check them out.
