Here's an idea to ponder

Posted: Aug 15, 2013

Imagine getting paid to do simple tasks and being able to work from home.  If you would like to check it out, see the following website:

I need another home job like I need another - hole in my head. nm.

Sorry, but these look scammy - I would avoid them

Remember the old saying that there is no free lunch? There are also no easy-peasy jobs ("simple tasks") that pay well, whether they are at-home or not.

This website appears to be foreign. The ads all seem to use the same odd syntax. The jobs are implausible, but appear to be designed to hook gullible, unsuspecting, and desperate folks.

These "jobs" are the internet version of stuffing envelopes at home. That was a famous scam and data entry at home is becoming another.

I hope no one is foolish enough to get sucked into this.

Yeah, I know the stuffing envelopes scam all too well... - ???

Basically waaaay back when, I was looking for an "easy" job to do at home. Saw an ad in my local paper to stuff envelopes at home, paid per envelope. I stupidly sent a $15 money order to some address in FL for their "starter kit." Basically it was just a letter explaining how to put the same ad in my local paper and then collect $15 bucks from someone else. Ponzi scheme much? I was so mad, but lesson learned. At least it was only $15. I hope that person had a good time with it. Since then, I am very jaded and skeptic and do not believe anything that is too good to be true. I even avoid raffles and lottery tickets.

IRS Letter. Something To Ponder...Oct 21, 2015
be nice to think it was true. Amazing, but true if you think about it, and it shows the importance of accuracy in your tax return. The IRS has returned the Tax return to a man in New Jersey after he apparently answered one of the questions incorrectly. In response to the question, ... "Do you have anyone dependent on you?" The man wrote: 2.1 million illegal immigrants, 1.1 million crackheads, 4.4 million unemployable scroungers, 80,000 criminals in 85 prisons plus 650 idiots in Washing ...

Quotes To Ponder On Illegal ImmigrationAug 07, 2017
These quotes show how the left has changed over the years, especially a certain ex-president._________________________________ In 'The Audacity of Hope:' “The number of immigrants added to the labor force every year is of a magnitude not seen in this country for over a century,” Obama noted. “If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers provides some benefits to the economy as a whole—especially by keeping our workforce young, in contrast to a ...

I Have A REALLY Radical Idea! How About NOMar 16, 2010
more name calling, personal insults and the like in response to posts!!!! It is childish, silly and makes it miserable for everyone else here on the board.  I get on here some days and scan just the subject lines and am just floored!  How about WE ALL grow up and act like adults and refrain from the above.  No more responding with one-liners, insults about intelligence or sarcasm just because we disagree with someone else.  Frankly, this forum has sunk pretty low due to posts ...

Saw A Neat IdeaMay 31, 2013
We often talk about what should the kids do while you're working. I saw the neatest idea in a Heloise column. The person said to take raw rice, place it in a bin of sorts (I'm thinking dishpan), and get a toy shovel and pail and other "beach" items. It gave instructions on how to dye the rice pretty colors, but I don't remember those instructions. Anyway, it sounds like something a 2 to 4year-old would totally enjoy. Little kids love to fill things up, dump them, fill them up aga ...

This Is My Idea Of A Dream JobJun 21, 2013
How many of us would love a job that pays bonuses for doing a lousy job? I sure would...Guess it was dumb of me to turn down the offer back in the 60s because I hated living in a city.  In two weeks, the Internal Revenue Service will close its doors for the third time this summer. IRS employees will not report to work on July 5, 2013, as the result of furloughs allegedly due to budgetary woes. IRS employees, already operating under pay freezes – some for the last three years &nd ...

Looking For Dinner Idea - Here's What I've GotAug 24, 2013
I'm looking to make something for dinner and at a loss for ideas.  I've got a zuccini from my garden and a little bit of brocoli left.  We were sauting the zuccini and brocoli in olive oil, garlic and basal (yum). Other stuff around my house is I've got rice, a couple potatoes.  Got cans of various kinds of beans (cannoli, white, kidney, pinto, garbanzos, and black) and I've got cans of tomatoes.  I've also got some tortillas (flour and corn).  ...

Health Care IdeaDec 03, 2009
Perhaps they should link it directly to Social Security.  make the plan optional, but if you decided against participation in the reform plan, you are automatically dropped from future Social Security payments.  If you are so dead certain that health care reform is socialism, you can make your stand by not taking social security.   ...

I Just Love Westboro Church. Got An Idea.....Mar 12, 2011
Since it's freedom of speech for them to protest, let's take the union protestors, since they like to protest so much, and send them to WBC and let them protest for as many days and weeks they did in WI. (I"m kidding, of course). Do you think if a group protested outside their church, standing 1000 feet away from them, that it would be considered freedom of speech?  This makes my blood boil. Need Christmas Present Idea..I'm StumpedDec 19, 2011
Because of having to change jobs, there is no extra money to buy my parents anything for Christmas.  Besides that, they are the hardest people to buy for.  If they want it, they buy it, which leaves the rest of us scratching our heads anyway.  I am needing a very low cost option for a Christmas idea for my parents.  I have 2 children (11 and 5) so I'm thinking something handmade, but not cheesy, from them.  Anyone have ANY ideas as I have totally drawn a blank.&nbs ...

Democrats Like A Romney Idea On Income TaxNov 14, 2012
One that was "ridiculed" by Obama. "The proposal by Mr. Romney, the Republican presidential nominee, was envisioned to help pay for an across-the-board income tax cut, a move ridiculed by President Obama as window dressing to a “sketchy deal.” But many Democrats now see it as an important element of a potential deficit reduction agreement — and one they can claim to be bipartisan." http://www.cnbc.com/id/49803756/ ...

Just Received A Great Gift That I Had No Idea Jan 04, 2014
I love to listen to audiobooks on MP3 players that I get from the library, but as I had pretty much gone through the selection at the library, I was going to buy a portable CD player to wear while I cook, do chores, etc. For my anniversary, my husband bought me a Sansa Clip Zip MP3 and I can download books through our library website and there are about 3000 titles, so I will have a lot of happy hours of listening. I had no idea that even existed! I'm so thrilled. If you like to listen ...

Need Idea For Get Well Gift For High School Girl....Nov 20, 2009
My son, who is in his mid 20s, is assistant coach for the high school girls' soccer team.  The young lady, who is team captain, has injured her ACL severely and probably won't be playing anymore but shows up for every game of course.  They all are getting her a little  inexpensive "get well" to give her tonight.  My son has no earthly idea what to get her and frankly, neither do I.  He wants to keep the  gift very generic, so as to not let the young lady g ...

Anyone Have An Idea How To Wear Glasses With A Nose Injury?Oct 20, 2010
Yesterday, my husband was grinding the rust off a metal lawn mower deck. The grinder caught on a piece of metal and in a flash, bouced up, hit his safety goggles and knocked them and his glasses to the top of his head and took a little chunk from the side of his nose (thankfully did not hit his eye) right where the nose piece sits about 1 inch, plus gave him 'road rash' on the tip. He's having trouble wearing his glasses. We have tried everything we can think of to make ...

The Idea Is To Require People Who Have Cadillac CoveragesSep 14, 2013
One of the things I'm not crazy about in this interim period before costs are brought more in line is Obamacare's throwing more responsibility on us for shopping for prices. People who belong to unions will not get a break on this--i.e., they won't still be able to just go to any hospital or doctor, no matter how overpriced, and have it all covered by insurance that costs no more than that most people have.  Right now, people are going to their $600/hour cardiac or other sp ...

Why Religious Freedom Laws Like Indiana's Are A Bad Idea For Left AND Right, Christian Or NotApr 01, 2015
Let me first say, again, I strongly believe in protecting civil liberties, but not promoting them. This means regardless of whether I agree or disagree morally, I do NOT agree with extremists, right or left, hellbent on forcing opinion into law. Recently, this has been done by both sides, either by enacting deceptive state law that "pretends" it doesn't discriminate, or by filing deceptive lawsuits that "pretend" they're with whomever refused them, rather than finding the perfect sit ...

Great Idea For A SNL Skit: Ryan, Family, And Film Crew Barge Uninvited IntoOct 16, 2012

Who'd get to play the ticked-off charity director and who the bumfuzzled volunteers, I wonder? But, really, why on earth did Ryan's campaign do this? It was an unannounced stop. Just a stray streak of brilliance that wowed them all temporarily? (Maybe similar to what became Obama's first-debate strateg ...
