Does anyone have an idea how long it takes to get results of a whole

So my lab results came back from my doctor's office and i'm told that I need to be on a high fiber/low fat diet (along with taking fish oil and a prescription for vitamin D). Does anyone have any good/easy recipes? TIA ...
