Arias trial coming back up

Has anyone followed Jodi Arias trial? First jury could not decide unanimously to give her death sentence (8 for death 4 against) so they are bringing a new jury in to decide just whether or not she deserves death or life in prison.

Any thoughts? Do you believe in the death sentence?

Most definitely I believe in the death penalty and I believe she should receive it. Her crime was heinous and depraved. I watched the entire trial and follow it still. If she gets anything less than death, then justice will not have been served, IMO.

that she deserves and should get the death penalty, I have this strange feeling that because of the lengthy delays by the defense, and asking not to resume the penalty phase until next year because they are "not prepared" may change the whole motion of the trial. Everything will have calmed down by then, public opinion has been silenced for now, media has backed off and now focused on the Zimmerman trial, and I feel that perhaps a new jury may not feel the heinousness of the crime and give her the softer side of penalty of life in prison. Only God knows and time will tell.

She is a devious conniving human being. Why should our tax dollars go towards $25,000 a year to keep her alive. I barely make that in a year's time. The death sentence would be much cheaper for tax payers.

It shouldn't be about the money to keep Jodi Arias alive but the morality of the death sentence.

I think she is basically intrinsically evil who committed a crime that was so gory, so bloody, so horrific, but I am unsure about the morality of the death sentence. I wish there was a way to keep her isolated from prison population like she will be on death row but let her live out the rest of her life in prison.

In other words, I do not think regular prison population will be a proper punishment for Arias but the isolation that comes with death row isolation will be a punishment. Hope this is clear. I would like Jodi Arias in life-time isolation and not given death sentence and not allowed to enter regular prison population.

I am amazed at people who make bad decisions and lie. Why not bite the bullet, admit your mistake and pay for it. Sad that people who have been given so much would allow themselves to get caught up ugliness, take another person's life and ruin their own. They did a whole day of going over the trial and testimony on HLN today. This trial has just been going on too long. Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body. I think a lot of the bias is because she is a pathologic liar.
