Where's the love . . . ?

. . . and I'm not being facetious. This is a “Faith” board, is it not? Regardless of what any one of may have faith in, I somehow expected more positive and uplifting posts on this board.

We have boards where the disagreements run rampant – line rates, companies, whether to even BE and MT.

But, come on . . . this is the FAITH board. We don’t all have to believe in the same things. We don’t all have to feel the same way. We don’t even have to agree on anything at all. If we can’t be kind, at least we can be civil.

I would love to see some open, honest discussions about our various faith-based lives. Whatever we may have faith in, it is not wrong. We all choose what is right for ourselves.

Some of us may feel we’ve found where we want to be. We may be comfortable with our faith, whatever it may be and in whatever we chose to place it. Others of us may be searching. Some of us might be wavering. Some may have never had faith in anything and may or may not care.

My point is, we are all different, but I truly believe we are all after the same thing . . . happiness in our lives and with ourselves.

Can we try to have some discussions here without attacking each other? Mutual respect is a very good thing.

I think the very best way to counteract those negative and abusive comments is to simply not reply. It's like a fire. If you keep putting wood on it will continue to burn. Let it go and it will die out. Everyone's faith is meaningful and runs deep. Faith to me means belief in a higher power. No one has the right to ridicule a person's faith, whatever that may be.

I do believe in God and His justice.Main thing is to do the work with honesty and loyalty.To start any new thing, we generally hesitate and mind is full of doubts.But, we should not forget that God always help those who help themselves.So, never give up before any critical situation...

I have several cats but one in particular that I cannot seem to get this under control. This is a mostly white cat, has some markings like calico. She is shedding so much that I carry her on my clothing anywhere I go and sometimes do not know there until I look, see and ashamed did not get off.
