the poor uncomfortable it will kick them out of poverty, or something like that. He knew if you made poverty more comfortable, there’s a lot of people that would just sit back and not try.
We all need something to strive for, motivation, self pride in doing something ourselves. Instead people have no incentive to get out of poverty because we make it easy for them to live in poverty.
I'm more concerned about corporate welfare, where - the REAL money is going.
[ In Reply To ..]
Twice as much a we spend on social welfare to bail out millionaires like Bain Capital.
Let huge corporations work to make THEIR money, rather than getting bailouts. They can afford to take care of themselves. Then I'll complain about some lady who somehow manages to feed a family of 5 (and apparently buy weed) on a measly 1200 a month.
Then why does Obama continue it? I thought he was against it. - nm
Why does any politician continue? They are - controlled by coorporations

and lobbyists. If we ever get a president who actually does something about it, I'll eat my hat. Even good presidents are controlled by whoever is pulling the purse strings and if we think otherwise, we're fooling ourselves. Yet, we find a way to carry on and complain about social welfare...well guess what, we have bigger problems.
None of it is constitutional, but we are beyond the point - of return for that now.

The future which lies ahead of us sounds more frightening as a horror movie. The bad thing about people who have been dependent on the government have less of a chance that others.
It's NOT "Constitutional?" Somebody had better - Libby

quick tell the SCOTUS that since they seem to think it is!!
I guess I should believe YOU instead of the SCOTUS, righ?
RME
Libby, you can believe what and who you want, but - in the original Constitution
[ In Reply To ..]
there is no provision for these things. In fact, the Federalist papers warn against these things.
I really don't care anymore. You can have your socialist utopia. What is coming is a consequence of the past century. It will be like Black Friday in Walmart every day.
The "original Constitution" didn't have "provisions" - Libby

for a LOT of things. That's why there have been so many amendments to it.
This is now settled LAW according to the SCOTUS.
I, again, defer to the highest court in the land, instead of a layperson who would rather spread false propaganda, followed by attacking the poster with their imagined personal judgment, in lieu of any facts.
As far as your not caring what I think (followed by the personal insults), I believe you.
And no claims of a partisan SCOTUS can be cited for the fact - that ACA IS law
[ In Reply To ..]
They might let this fallacy just "cool down" and save it for a "rainy day" before resurrecting it once again, as if it were new, and believable.
And, as you pointed out, the primarily conservative SCOTUS holds it as law, so they're not in the TP/GOP in their corner, as they have in the past with the selection of Bush (for example).
How about giving money to failed companies like - Solyndra and all the wasted

and quit our jobs. Since the taxpayers are "fools" according to this lady, lets all go on welfare and there will not be any more taxpayers to pay them their monthly stipend! who is gonna support them then?? The taxpayers support the government and all of the freeloaders, so lets all be freeloaders. where is the money going to come from then?? :-)
