Hey Auntie...that's home country as in origin of his ancestors. I was born and raised in the US, but my home country would be Ireland, as that is the origin of my ancestry. OMG! This birther scrounging around for any tidbit of nothingness they can find is really getting boring.

I was born on a US air force base in a foreign country (US citizen). Spent most of my first 6 years on a US air force base in that country. Speak only English. Have now lived in the US for 40+ years. I would have thought the US was my home country, but you are telling me it isn't. I'm so bummed out now.

Home country means home country. Home country is where you were born and are from. Then someone is claiming that Ireland is her home country. LOL Yeah right. But not only do you have Michelle telling everyone he is from Kenya, you also have Obama's own grandmother who came out and said she was in the room when he was born. So proud her grandson that she watched being born in Kenya is now the president - Her own words.

Heck I would have loved for him to be born here. Then this whole thing wouldn't have come about. He would have had a real certificate and not pay someone to make one for him, and then pay someone to re-do it because it didn't look authentic, and then pay someone yet to do it again. LOL. The worst thing about this is that somewhere along the line someone didn't do their job.

Even though I do think he was born in Kenya, I think she meant that his father was born there and his brother lives there. Something like if we Americans lived in Australia would would say, we went to visit our home country America. I do believe there was an interview before Barack became president, with his grandmother that she innocently mentioned he was born in Kenya , they got rid of that interview real fast.

It's so obvious. He was born in Kenya, flew here (that is why the international flight records from the National Archives from the week of his birth are missing). You should really also check out the requirements for getting a certificate of live birth from Hawaii that year. If this was the only board I visited, I'd probably know just as little, so don't be embarrassed. But DO try to research these things. You might learn something.
