The new Republicans go by bumper sticker and 10-sec sound bites but no facts

These new extremist Republicans don't use facts. They shout, turn red in the face, get angry, and avoid facts, because the facts don't agree with their agenda.
If it can't fit on a bumper sticker, the new Republican party can't understand it.
If it doesn't fit in a 10-second sound byte on TV, the new Republican party can't deal with it, because they don't deal with thoughtful understanding of the issues.
I seriously long for the old Republican statesmen who cared about this country and didn't just want to destroy it because they 'don't believe in' government. I miss them. I don't think they will ever return. I think the Republican party has been permanently destroyed. All that's left are these extremist maniacs, the clown party, but it isn't funny at all. It's scary, because it's our country they are trying to destroy.

You know perfectly well that the Republicans know that nothing can be done while (a) it requires 60 votes in the Senate and (b) a President who wants to work with both sides - neither of which is the case. The obstructionists here are the Democrats, not the Republicans.
