I take that back...those facts are NOT so fun.
It is my understanding that Fox underwrote the Tea Party originally---as in paid for it - but I am not sure what is happening now

The big problem that I'm reading about is that the T-party isn't doing that well itself, but it is taking away from the Republican Party, without replacing them with anything that could beat the Democrats, which was the main reason Republicans were supporting it. It was supposed to help them, not bring them down. That's not working. The Republican Party is in trouble and the T-party is falling apart, a huge number of them going to the Democrats because of the Paul Ryan plan to dismantle Medicare.

As to a "huge" number of them going to Democrats because of Paul Ryan and Medicare...not happening either that I can support anywhere. Where are you getting information about "huge" numbers going to the Democrats?
Also, where did you find any confirmation about Roger Ailes "funding" the tea party?

[ In Reply To ..]He has all of these Republicans who were going to run for office or might be going to run for office. He gave them all of the time they needed for name recognition and to put forth their platforms. I don't think he's getting his money's worth for that. I also don't think he got his money's worth from the tea-party people. That movement is beginning to go directions he never intended them to go. They accomplished that last election, but then they have been balking at a few of the Republican ideas, mainly the dismantling of Medicare. I think he's got a problem.
