TWO More GLARING ERRORS on B.O.'s "Birth Certificate!"

Posted: May 5, 2011

TWO more problems with Obama's FAKE birth certificate:  Both the COUNTRY and HOSPITAL names were WRONG!  See below.  (These are IN ADDITION TO the designation of "African" on his "birth certificate" at a time [1961] when "Negro" would have been used.)

This is a SLAM-DUNK CIRCUMSTANTIAL CASE!!

On Obama’s Birth Certificate released last week by the White House has his father listed as being Kenyan born. The only problem with that is that Kenya was not an independent country in 1961 but was instead known as Kenya Colony or British East Africa Protectorate, with the name changing to Kenya or the Republic of Kenya after independence from Britain in 1963. Prior to independence in 1963 Mombassa the second city of Kenya was not even in the colony but in nearby Zanzibar. According to a Kenyan website, (link broken) colonial-era documents were marked "Colony and Protectorate of Kenya", while Republic-era are "Republic of Kenya".

Therefore since Kenya did not exist in 1961 but was a colony of Britain the name of the place of birth for Obama’s father should/would not have been inserted as simply Kenya on Obama’s birth certificate.

****************************************************

MORE from the link above follows:

The name of the country BEFORE it was named Kenya in 1963 after Jomo Kenyatta was British East Africa Protectorate.

The name Kenya did not come into play until 1963.... So how could it be in 1961 on a birth certificate a place of birth is listed as Kenya before it was even a country named Kenya???

I have not been an outright "birther" but I DO LIKE TRUTH! The birth certificate has that problem which I consider to be a huge problem!

Here is some information about Kenya and the history of it:

http://glpinc.org/Classroom%20Activities/Kenya%20Articles/Str...

Jomo Kenyatta was born in Gatundu; the year of his birth is uncertain, but most scholars agree he was born in the 1890s. He was born into the Kikuyu ethnic group. Named Kamau wa Ngengi at birth, he later adopted the surname Kenyatta (from the Kikuyu word for a type of beaded belt he wore) and then the first name Jomo. Kenyatta was educated by Presbyterian missionaries and by 1921 had moved to the city of Nairobi. There he became involved in early African protest movements, joining the Kikuyu Central Association (KCA) in 1924.

In 1928 he became editor of the movement's newspaper. In 1929 and 1931 Kenyatta visited England to present KCA demands for the return of African land lost to European settlers and for increased political and economic opportunity for Africans in Kenya, which had become a colony within British East Africa in 1920.

Jomo Kenyatta is revered as the founding father of modern Kenya.

Here a debunker that went through the Kenya BC that had come up a couple of years ago. Makes the case perfectly for why the Hawaii birth certificate can't be real. He says what Kenya was called and the fact he was using it against "birthers" at that time.... yet it can be used now:

Edit to note: Kenya is listed as a country, in 1960 on a map, but it was a British Colony and the name Kenya alone was not used - a debunker of "birthers" proves that below.

http://belowthebeltway.com/2009/08/02/the-latest-birther-fant...

This leads to the second problem with the purported birth certificate. From December 12, 1963 until December 12, 1964, the official title of Kenya was the Dominion of Kenya. It wasn’t until a year later, on December 12, 1964 that the Republic of Kenya came into existence. And yet, the document above, issued on February 17, 1964 purports to have been issued on behalf of the Office of Principal Registrar, Coast Province, Republic of Kenya.

So above a debunker of the fake Kenyan birth certificate has now debunked the latest birth certificate.

BUT the BIGGEST Mistake??????

Considering the name for the hospital listed on the birth certificate listed was not so named until 1978!!!

The name on the hospital of the birth certificate is listed as Kapiolani. But the name of the hospital in 1961 was: Kauikeolani Children’s Hospital!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapiolani_Medical_Center_for_Wom...

Kauikeolani Children’s Hospital opened in 1909 named for Emma Kauikeolani Napoleon Mahelona (1862–1931), the wife of Albert Spencer Wilcox (1844–1919).[1] In 1978, it merged with Kapi?olani Maternity Home to become Kapi?olani Medical Center for Women and Children.[2][3][4]

So those who forged the birth certificate, well they made some huge mistakes! But I am sure this will never be mentioned in the MSM and even other people running for President will most likely not mention it either!

I checked your link on the hospital, it states in 1931 the hospital name was changed to Kapi'olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital, which is what the birth certificate says, then name was changed to something else in 1971. You are looking at a different hospital. My brother-in-law is Kenyan, and pointed out that there wasn't enough room on the birth certificate for the whole name of the country, so they probably shortened it, Kenya and East Africa are the important parts. Also, they are very proud of the fact that they are African, they get offended if they are called black, I'm assuming that would have been the case back then also.

Just because your BIL is Kenyan doesn't mean that he has knowledge of how the State of Hawaii (IN THE UNITED STATES, NOT KENYA) completed their birth certficates! Was he working for them as a clerk back in '61? That's what I thought... So he is ASSUMING.

We are not talking about who got "offended." The FACT is that ALL blacks in America (not Kenya!) were officially called "NEGRO" on ALL documents, including birth certificates, back then. Where they came from -- Kenya, Sudan, etc. -- is MOOT. I'm not saying that it was "right" or "wrong" or that I agree or disagree with it. My personal opinion of the practice -- just like yours and your BIL's -- is MOOT. The FACT is that that's the way it was back then in this country.

No cigar for you. Try again!!

Where ever our president was born, and every literate person who is even slightly familiar with the process of registering to run for president knows that he was born in one of the states of the United states of America, the majority of us (as proven by the recent election) are just happy that he made it to the office in time to try to rescue us from the debacle of the previous administration....you should be happy, too.

Umm. not me. Obama has made it worse with his - pathetic policies, not better.

This country is hurting, and Obama is part of the problem. He is not cleaning up any messes, but instead, making a bigger mess.

Excellent message! I agree that he is making a lot of progress - sm

You'll never hear me say that any President is perfect or that I agree with everything they ever do or say, and I was never one of the Obama supporters, but I'm all smiles right now about President Obama. Of course he will have his ups and downs. They all do. I have trouble even typing it, because I don't like praising politicians, but I like what he's doing---for the most part. LOL. I have to put that part in because I don't like praising politicians, who will always disappoint you if you put them up too high on a pedestal. I hope he continues as he has been. He is making good progress on a number of difficult issues.
What?! Are we talking about the same President?! - mtmom

What good has he done for this country? Obamacare is going to kill healthcare and make it worse for everyone, the debt is so high we will be bankrupt soon, he hates our military... shall I go on? The only thing he has done that makes some sense it credit card reform; however, even with that said, the people who were being good with their cards got screwed before the new law went into effect and ended up paying higher interest because the companies knew they were going to lose money. He spends more money and goes on more vacations and trips than anyone ever. And if his healthcare bill is so fantastic, how come he, all other politicians, and all these companies that have asked for waivers are not having to take part in it? If it is as great as he claims, everyone would want it. He is absolutely the worst president we have ever had, and Jimmy Carter was pretty bad. Ugh. I hope he does not get reelected. He scares me.
Republican Governors are requesting waivers but not all the people in those states agree - with the Governors
[ In Reply To ..]
We can agree to disagree. We probably disagree about lots of things. In my state, for example, we have a heavy-handed Republican Governor who is putting through regulations that give the Governor more control than would be acceptable to most people, if they knew it was happening. That scares me. It probably might not scare you. We can agree to disagree.

there is no standard criteria in the US for birth certificates, don't you? Each state establishes the appearance, content requirements, and various designations which may or may not be acceptable. That would mean that unless YOU were a clerk in the Honolulu Hospital in 1961 working in the birth registry, you are only able to speculate and assume, as are any of us. This is where it gets tricky. You have already demonstrated a tendency to hear only what you want to hear and misread information if it does not support your argument, which is evident in the way you presented the hospital information. Its factual verifiable history is summed up as follows.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapiolani_Medical_Center_for_Women_and_Children
The time line states the Kapi'olani Home of the Hoolu and Hoola Lahui Society was established in 1890. It became Kapi'olani Maternity Home in 1918, then Kapi'olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital in 1931, then Kapi'olani Hospital in 1971. Kauikeolani Children's Hospital is an entirely different entity as shown by its own separate timeline. It began a 10-year protracted merger with Kapi'olani Hospital in 1976. That involved a third entity and is detailed in yet another separate timeline for Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children.

TWO minus one and counting. The country designation has been effectively addressed by the previous poster's BIL. He is correct to observe that the country name at the time was too long to appear on the certificate. It is reasonable to accept that a native-born Kenyan who probably knows the history of his own country far better than you or I, might just be familiar with the many possible different ways his country name has been displayed on various legal documents such as passports, travel and immigration documents, etc, none of which would be standardized or held to the very RIGID requirements you are trying to impose. Most of us would be inclined to accept his explanation

Since neither you, I nor he were employed by the Honolulu birth certificate registry in 1961, we are left to rely on such things as logic, preponderance of the evidence, consistency and veracity of claims. Logic tells us that if you can pronounce in no uncertain terms that the BIL argument, opinions, and statements are MOOT, then we also have to conclude that yours are too. Therefore, given the other overwhelming evidence that accompanies the BC body of evidence, I choose to believe the native-born Kenyan take. You of course are free to disagree along with the others that make up the minute percentages of folks still clinging to this ridiculous notion.

Zero minus one and counting. On the issue of the African designation of race. Of course there was a time when your one-drop theory of Negro applied to this in some places in the US, particularly in the South. State regulation of BC content did and does not require them to employ the US Department of Health, Education and Welfare or Census race designations. Only federal documents require that. It is not unusual that race designation on federal documents differs from that of state documents.

Hawaii has a number of mixed races that may or may not have distinctions made in such places as say Alabama or Mississippi. It is evident that Obama is mixed since his mom is white, so Hawaiian policy would not necessarily subscribe to your one-drop slop. It is much more likely that they would accept the parents self-designated description of his race and, in this case, again going on the Kenyan BIL post above, his mom probably answered this question in the same way she knew his proud African dad would. The distinctions between race, color and national origin are often blurred. I accept what was entered on that BC simply because it would make sense to me that Hawaiians would have an entirely different approach to race from Deep South states owing to the nature of their population, historical experiences and absence of endemic racist bigoted character that proliferates in some Mainland states. They would be more likely to accept the parent's description and enter it on the BC.

Zero minus one. I think we are done here. In no way do I delude myself into thinking you would accept any of this, and fully expect a repetitive my-way-or-the-highway rebuttal. My post is meant to show alternative approaches to interpreting the BC content and to propose a reasonable logical sound line of thinking, not to butt my head up against a brick wall trying to convince those who cling to their prejudicial bigoted hatred of our president.
