I've got the local respiratory creeping crud. Saw the doc and he prescribed prednisone. The pharmacist had to call him back today. Prescription was written for 20 tablets, "1 on day one then 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 on successive days once a day". I'm thinking that this makes no sense at all. All of this MT work pays off. He meant 6 on day one then 5 on day 2, 4 on day 3, etc., but the rx was written exactly as above. How do common folk ever know what they have is not right? Shouldn't the phamacy have noticed this when they filled it to begin with? Why is it left to me, the patient, to say this can't be right?
