Syrian Islamists Kill 15 year old boy in front of parents

Members of an al Qaeda-linked group in Syria executed a 15-year-old boy in front of his parents after kidnapping and torturing him for making disrespectful statements about Islam's Prophet Muhammad, a human rights group in the region claimed.

Mohammad Qataa was seized Saturday in Aleppo by gunmen with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria — formerly known as the Nusra Front — after he was overheard saying during an argument with another, “Even if the Prophet Muhammad comes down [from heaven], I will not become a believer,” according to Reuters.

The captors displayed the bloody and beaten boy to a crowd on Sunday, issuing a warning to those who might similarly speak of the prophet before shooting the teen.

"Islamicists" are just the most recent Johnny-come-latelies to this conflict. You want moral outrage over the most imaginative and resourceful ways to slaughter your fellow countrymen? Look no further than YouTube, but be warned. If you want to get a really good feel for what's up with all the blood, guts and gore, better set aside the entire weekend. That's how long it will take you just to scratch the surface and to get a fix on how the opposition movement evolved from initially peaceful protests to the current bloodbath status. Pay special attention to how out-gunned, out-funded and out-trained the rebels are vis-a-vis Assad's military and "special" ops forces. They make the IDF SOFs look like amateurs.

Just say the word. I'd be more than happy to provide links to as many videos as you can stand to watch. Make sure there are no children in the room. Better still, a good place to start on Google would be YouTube Assad Massacres, or simply plug in names of major cities and villages for "Assad" in your search, then fasten your seat belt for a truly bumpy ride. There is an endless supply ready for viewing right at your fingertips.

It's just a tad late in the game for Americans to get themselves all hot and bothered over the ghastly slaughter, regardless of who has all that blood on their hands. The neglect to date from the regional Arab players and the West says it all. They could care less about 15-year-old boys executed in front of their parents' eyes. The time for outrage has long since past....about 85-90,000 fatalities ago.

Does anyone else have pain in the front of their ankle from using the foot pedal?
