Bizarre. Opens him up to inconsistencies in his own testimony (if indicted) in his own criminal case and gives fodder to the federal civil rights case.

If no indictment, we also get to listen to and form our own opinions of this recording. I find it very hard to believe his story will be so compelling as to absolve him from any guilt, so if he is not indicted it becomes a question of why, which I feel will indeed become a problem.
Just checked out Missouri grand juries and guess what, they don't have to be unanimous, only 9 of the 12 have to agree. Oh boy.

I would say they might be trying to release all of the info to try to diffuse the situation if no indictment. I think it will be too little to late. I'm already rethinking my trips to St. Louis in January-February....unless I go to join the protests. Do you think they have delayed it to cold weather thinking less people will come out?

My fear is that if the result is not what the people want it is going to be disastrous and they won't be able to contain it to Ferguson, it may come to my neighborhood. There was second video which does not support the officer's version. At our county meeting yesterday (it is a county wide meeting and it includes Ferguson) some of the young people from Ferguson have threatened to destroy the area. Those of us liveing here are very worried.

Once again, our friend Antonio French is trying to get some people together with Heal St. Louis which I think might help redirect some of the high emotional response, but I think it might be over the top if he is not indicted.

I live in north county but I grew up in Saint Louis City, north side, went to St. Bridget's elementary school and graduated from Rosati Kain high school and then Washington University undergrad, in the city, clearly I know the area. If Antonio French is an alderman in city, he doesn't live in north county, right? God knows St Louis City has more than enough problems with police and crime how has he become so involved in north county? I'm just asking because you mentioned he is your friend.

1. Proximity of this area to the City.
2. I think he has a connection with UMSL, which, if I am not wrong(is at the north end of this area)?
He definitely has the interest of the underrepresented population in North County at heart. Visit Heal St. Louis. If you do Twitter. It has been very interesting to see the jobs and investment that have come in the past few weeks.

[ In Reply To ..]It just seems that justice means different things to different people but when all of this is over, we are all still going to have to co-exist. I've lived in the area for 30 years, and have paid our home off, I have no intention of moving and starting with a new mortgage anywhere.
