[ In Reply To ..]I sympathize with their plight but we are helping them? When they get here they will have no jobs, no housing, no insurance. We have plenty of homeless people in the US who need help. How about starting there? Don't believe if I went to their country they would help me. I can hardly keep my head above water and now find my tax dollars will be going to help them. Once again, we have become big brother. Our country just keeps going further and further in debt.

This is part of being a super power that everyone is so fond of touting,(you know, policing the world and armies invading). 10,000 is a drop in the bucket, really, virtually nothing. Germany has pledged to take 500,000 a year for several years.
