So let's see. What did the Dems do today?

Posted: Sep 5, 2012

1.  They removed God from their platform - and then they actually BOOED when they had to jam it back in.  Barry knew all about this, incidentally, and had absolutely no objection to the removal action - until the political potato got too hot for him to handle.  Now he's pretending that he rode in like the Lone Ranger and "saved God".  Disgusting.

2.  A Dem leader in Florida said that Christians want Jews to be massacred.

3.  A Dem legislator in Arkansas pleaded guilty to voter fraud.  Manipulated absentee ballots, bribes, etc.  Just business as usual for this outfit.

4.  Pro-Israeli language that had been removed had to also be jammed back into the platform - again, to boos from the delegates.

5.  David Axelrod, apparently completely unaware of the "God" and "Israel" contretemps was interviewed on Fox and bragged - for about the millionth time - "At least our party is united".  (Ummm...check your email, David.)

6.  "Vote Black!" buttons were distributed on the floor of the convention and proudly worn by those bright delegates who love to accuse "the other party" of racism.

As I said, just another day in the liberal loonie bin.  Everyone line up for your pills, please - and we'll be checking to make sure you swallow them!

Good assessment of a "typical day in the life of ":: - sad but true

Never saw so many hateful, spiteful racist people in one place and they have the stones (cleaned up for the benefit of poster who is so easily offended, unless of course it's their post) to accuse others of racism. I am so sick of anything Democrat, I doubt I will ever vote for another one. Before you start your flaming, I'm an Indie and always split my vote. Not this year. Straight Republican all the way in large part thanks to the nasty Democrats/Liberals on this board. Biggest bunch of intolerable babies I have ever seen in one place, besides the Democrat convention.

The Dems Still ....Dec 15, 2010
The Democrat Omnibus Bill: 1924 pages, 6,488 earmarks, $1.27trillion equating to $575.13million per page and only 3 days to read and vote on it. Just as news breaks that congress has received it's lowest approval rating in Gallup Polling history, 13%, with an 83% dissaproval rating, Senate Majority leader Harry Reid whips out a monsterous spending bill in similar fashion to the Obamacare bill. Senator John Cornyn of Texas has previously criticized the Democratic majority for not pass ...

Bad Day All In All For The Dems - Here's One Of Sep 06, 2012
Sandra Fluke took the stage. Her delivery was just embarrassing. Fluke’s first words, met with a cheer, were a lie. She said, “Some of you may remember that earlier this year, Republicans shut me out of a hearing on contraception.” It was a hearing on the First Amendment and religious freedom, not contraception. She’s not a First Amendment scholar, so she had no business testifying there. In fact, the Rev. Barry Lynn was supposed to be the witness Democrats wer ...

Dems Hit New Low.Mar 16, 2017

How Much Is Your Gas Today?Jan 07, 2011
A while back I posted a message that the oil commodity prices were going up and the last time oil was about $90, gas went to over $4.00.  Do you think there is less oil out there? The last time gas prices increased that much, oil companies reported record profits and Bush was president.  Hmmm.  Republicans have the House.  I think I will go buy some oil stock. ...

Wow, I Can See TodayJul 26, 2016
I cannot believe it. I had hardly any pain yesterday except after the drops were put in and today I can see to read quite a lot, not fine print, but can read this board and some other things. The colors are so bright and the white is so white and bright. I feel like I have new eyes. Thanks so much for praying all of you. BTW, they had to delay surgery for me and the first patient because something was wrong on the light. They finally got that fixed and I was only 20 minutes late going ...

DHS Did Something Right Today.Mar 03, 2015
Supposedly, DHS shut down 20 of these birth tourist homes, all in California. It costs up to $50K for the Chinese mothers-to-be to come and stay here, having their babies in a regular hospital, and then go home. The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution grants automatic citizenship to everyone born in the United States. It was intended to ensure that freed slaves would be able to claim citizenship they rightly deserved. Today, however, some creative "birth tourists" are ta ...

I Got A Cat TodayJan 21, 2016
Believe it or not, I got a wonderful cat at a shelter today! He is a gorgeous black cat, looks like a little panther, and is incredibly affectionate and good natured. He had been there quite a while because the shelter people said they have such a hard time placing black cats! He is a love (and my third black cat), and I am so glad that a friend of mine suggested I take a black cat! So, no Savannah cat, no pit, no Rottie, just a wonderful and loving black cat! He is a very peaceful creature ...

So What's Up With Bipartisanship And Only Have Dems Dec 07, 2009
at the Sunday meetings behind closed doors? That's bipartisanship? I don't think so. Don't want to rile anyone up here, but you would think if O was completely for bipartisanship, he would have had some 'pubs at this meeting. What was the meeting about? Health care reform? He certainly should have had some 'pubs there. Where's the transparency he always talked about in his campaigns? I see none of it. I see a lot of closed door meetings. Did I hear right?  ...

How The Dems Do ThingsSep 06, 2012
1.  The entire DNC is being subsidized with a $10 million line of credit from Duke Energy. 2.  The CEO of Duke Energy is one of Obama's biggest contributors - $tens of thousands. 3.  Duke Energy has received over $200 million in stimulus money for "green jobs". So, while Elizabeth Warren was standing up on the podium whining about a "rigged economy", she was speaking over a microphone that was paid for with "rigging" of the first order. Good job, Dems!  You're R ...

THIS IS WHAT DEMS LOSING LOOKS LIKEOct 04, 2012
They set themselves up to lose earlier this week b/c they knew that man-to-man, without the editing prowess of MSNBC and the networks, that their guy would lose big time....and he did. However, after debate - it's all good. "CNN poll must be way skewed," they said, "with way to many republicans in the poll."  Really - that's something CNN has never been guilty of before...why would they start now? Just take the loss, admit your guy is running on nothing and, therefore, had ...

So, Fellow DemsJul 30, 2013
I've read a campaign for Hillary has already raised over a million dollars in its first quarter--I really think she's planning on running. This article also mentions a likely Biden run. What I want to know is, which would you rather see run? I hope it's Hillary--Biden is fine as a VP, but I think he's a little too off his rocker to be president.   ...

Wow! What A Speech By O TodayJan 07, 2010
I'm surprised no one on this board commented on it yet. I watched it and he seems pretty pi$$ed. I just hope he really means what he said this time. As he said, it is his responsibility. Maybe now he will stop blaming the former administration and focus on being a president instead of a puppet. The only problem I see is that talk is cheap. Implementation of what his plans are for the terrorist problem has yet to be seen. I did miss the press conference between Homeland Security ...

Wow, Today Is The Day For GiftsDec 16, 2010
So first I got a fruit basket delivered today from one of my accounts.  Very nice.  Then I got my mail and there was a X-mas card from our next door neighbor. They are retired, in their 80s, and live in Florida for the winter.  Since we live in an area that has plenty of snow, we (usually me) shovel or snowblow their sidewalk whenever needed.  In the past they have always sent a X-mas card with a check for my husband for doing the snowblowing, I think usually about $50.  ...
