They set themselves up to lose earlier this week b/c they knew that man-to-man, without the editing prowess of MSNBC and the networks, that their guy would lose big time....and he did. However, after debate - it's all good. "CNN poll must be way skewed," they said, "with way to many republicans in the poll." Really - that's something CNN has never been guilty of before...why would they start now? Just take the loss, admit your guy is running on nothing and, therefore, had nothing to say in this debate...Please Mr. Moderator, can we go to another question - I am sick of getting my butt kicked on this one...Please Mr. Moderator, HELP ME!

Can't wait to hear their spin when Ryan wipes the floor with Biden.

I agree that Joe will probably give the public more of what they want to see--verbal smack downs. I think Obama has the larger game planned out.

Ironic how last week pubs were saying the polls were skewed and now they are right on. Flip floppers.

Obama asked about the next question because every time Obama called Romney out on his BS, Romney had to bully Lehrer to retort, intent on having the last word like his political life depended on it (because it does - translation, desperate). Obama wanted to move on because he had already given Romney enough rope. Romney resembled a petulant teenager bullying the elderly. It was not becoming at all.

the dynamics between Romney and Candy Crowley and how she handles him. Lehrer was useless and allowed Romney to play by his own rules. Lehrer should have had better control over the debate and demanded details. That being said, Obama missed a lot of opportunities to bring up the 47%, Bain, offshoring, tax evasion tactics, etc.

Also, will be interesting to see if Obama has the guts to look Romney in the eye instead of down at his imaginary notes...even at Lehrer's direct instruction to speak directly to Mr. Romney (using hand motions in case he was not clear)! We all know how hard it is to look someone directly when you are not confident of your own abilities to argue a point or present your case.
