Rush Limbaugh taken to hospital.

HONOLULU — Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was taken to a hospital with chest pains on Wednesday, a Honolulu television station reported.

He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays.

Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.

How predictable re such a post. If that had been Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, etc., (who are in the same age group as Rush) who was rushed to the hospital (the one for the elites, not you or me, mind you), how would you have handled that post? When was the last time you saw even a competency test for most of these "elected officials?"

Think about all the posters on this board who think everyone should receive privacy re their medical records, etc.

As Walter E. Williams (guest-host for Rush today) always says, "Pushing back the frontiers of ignorance..."

If I typed up reports on any lib (key words: "elected official" versus "private citizen," I certainly wouldn't be on this board flapping my trap about it. Also, the dirty, little secret about conservatives is that we believe that we are all created equal, and we also believe in the right to prosper to one's own desires withOUT the government taking it from us!

Incidentally, I don't drink the RINO Kool-Aid, either. Any career politician will not make my world better. Only I can!

I'm a gratefully recovering alcoholic and had to go to the ER for my first ever migraine. It had been going on for a week and would not go away. So was I looking for a fix? Your comment was uncalled for. I let them give me an injection and refused any scripts to take home. Make sure your own attic is clean before you take Rush's inventory. Is he not allowed a second chance? If he is looking for a fix, shame on him, but you type medical reports. He's lost some weight but he's still an overweight man in his 50s. Former cigarette smoker. Current cigar smoker. Weight and smoking - 2 risk factors right there. And we know he's a "passionate" man which makes me think he tends to stress about things.

Since you're so smart, why don't you tell us what really happened?

So let me understand this correctly: you have never jumped to any conclusions in your life, and you have never had a friend or relative get addicted to something (take your pick: booze, pills, porn, roids, antidepressants, Kool-Aid, and whatever else)...

Speaking of a porn addiction, my former spouse has a porn addiction. But if the person refuses to acknowledge it, it cannot be addressed, or even treated. Incidentally, it isn't illegal (kids, and that sort of thing).

Frankly, I'd like to know if anyone has married someone who found out about such a problem, and any advice.

I doubt I'll get a reply, since I'm just a "hater," but so it goes.

I watched Dr. Sanjay Gupta's piece on CNN this week where he was explaining why hospital costs were so high. Of all the bills collected by the hospital from all sources they only end up actually collecting 4%, that's 4 cents for every dollar billed! All for seniors (over 60) and seemingly with an effort, urge or suggestion to transition to DNR/DNI status. Are the death panels auditing these hospitals? This is the hospital I worked in for years. I also was a patient over the years. Sometimes our little hospital has to send people there if they cannot provide the right services (ours a little hospital). Latest on this is that the person got Legionnaire's from the hospital.
