How about the New York Post's December 18th big bold headline, "Hillary Clinton's Head Fake!" or Newsbusters rant against MSM for "disingenuously reporting the Hillary excuse for not testifying without the slightest bit of skepticism?" Then we have the insufferably smug Charles Krauthammer's, "acute Benghazi allergy" diagnosis, and Sean Hannity's demand to see the medical report. Daily Caller's Jim Treacher could not come up with anything original, so he simply did what DC always does by repeating Hannity's demand in a headline, and refusing to "take her word for it." The aforementioned defeated, outgoing, Tea Party imbecile, Allen West proudly called it Benghazi flu, while Fox contributor and radio call host Monica Crowley said it was a "virus with impeccable timing."

Not a single one of them has been big enough to step forward and offer an apology.

They all implied she was lying about her illness, the fainting, the fall, the concussion, and her MD's recommendations for bed rest. The development of this blood clot clarifies in no uncertain terms who was lying and who wasn't. Like I said, if Fox had ANY integrity whatsoever, they would issue and retraction and an apology. Not to worry, though. NO ONE is holding their breath on that.

“The problem is that concussions, when they lead to blood clots — the blood clots are not usually treated with blood thinners, as they say she’s being treated,” he explained. “If she has a blood clot that occurred because she was sitting around or something, they would treat that with blood thinners, and that would be fine. But there may be more to this story that we don’t know.”

They are when the clot is extradural. It's in a vein between - the brain and skull.

It's relatively rare, so that probably explains why it did not occur to Dr. Bazell, whose specialty is immunology, not neurology/neurosurgery.
