First advertiser bails on Limbaugh

Posted: Mar 2, 2012

Updates: Rush said woman was "having so much sex" she could not afford her birth control pills.  Obviously he knows his listeners are dumb enough to believe that you need one pill for each sexual act, thus she is running out. Limbaugh mocks Obama for calling the woman in question in support.  Yellow Boehner wimps out with his forced response.

Woman in question was talking about a friend who needed BCP for ovarian problems.  Liar, liar, by the way, lives in personal moral sewer.

Really felt more outraged at Matt's cool attitude toward the interview and woman who was unfairly attacked by Limbaugh. He almost condoned Limbaugh's awful verbal assault on this poor woman, saying that it was OK for him to attack people this way. I am wondering if he would be so cool and calm if his mother or wife were the one being attacked or hear Limbaugh call them a "slut" too.

This really makes me see red that women have to beg the government to reimburse them the cost of BCPs. I think they should all protest in the way that hurts men the most. (Do you know what I am talking about????).

Now you have a taste of the way - libs treats Repubs

BTW..buy your own damn BCP.

The goverment would never do this with ED medication! - flMT

Maybe if doctors did not give out so much free ED medication, women would not have to take BCPs, did they ever think of that??

I used to work for a Urologist and he was always giving free samples of Viagra/Levitra/Cialis to his patients when they could not afford them. Even patients on Medicaid can get them. I have been on BCPs for over 20 years and take them for medical reasons other than birth control. I have never been given a free sample. I can even recall having to pay $50 to $60 a prescription because insurance did not cover them!

I heard Mr. OxyContin King's comments last night and wanted to reach through the screen and throttle him!

This is about employee health insurance coverage not government - just saying - nm

Everyone here is missing my point. - Suzy Q

I am not really taking sides on whether government should pay for BCP's. I am just greatly offended by Rush Limbaugh and Matt Lauer too for not standing up more for the young lady who was insulted by Rush. He did call her a "slut" and implied that she just stayed in bed all day having sex and that is why she had to have BCP's.

It is irrelevant to me about who is paying for BCP's, but just because a young girl wishes to be prescribed the Pill, she should not be labeled a "slut." Now certainly you cannot argue against this (or can you)???

i am just very angry that the government would label women as having bad morals and being promiscuous because they wish not to get pregnant.

Highly disgusting in my opinion.
Who is this government you are talking about? - nm

another here that did not hear - what the government said today

[ In Reply To ..]
People on here really need to pay attention to something besides this board. Read Sebelius' transcripts with her own words. BCP and reproductive services had nothing to do with healthcare and was all about "control". Came right out of the horse's mouth in her own words as to what Obamacare was about. She specifically stated it was so the GOVENRMENT COULD CONTROL the number of American births. Who they hell is the government to determine what is an acceptable number of children to have, and then lie and say it is about reproductive services. And yet, so few on here get it.
Are you serious? No wonder the US is in serious trouble - and a laughing stock. nm

If you meant this as a thinly veiled insult, keep yourself dumbed down...that's what Kathleen is counting on. She made the statements and they are now part of Congressional testimony. The laughing stock is all those duped by Obama and his regime. Those were Kathleen S's words. If you truly are surprised, the info is out there, but not on lame street medias. Try watching C SPAN
Her point is insurance companies pay for contraception - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Contraception is cheaper than pregnancy, so insurance companies will cover contraception, after all, insurance companies are all for profit. I am continually amazed how Conservatives will twist and spin every statement into a political agenda.
Hurt yourself with your spinning Tilt-A-Whirl - sm

Too bad you only take what you THINK supports your position. KS has been a long time believer of eliminating what she deemed "undesirables" and "social engineering". Keep your blinders on, continue to bash insurance companies, all the while the big picture escapes you completely. She had clearly said she wanted to "limit" births. If you don't know what that word means, contact your the dictionary lady. BTW - Educate yourself some more. Not ALL insurance companies are for profit. That's the problem with your blanket statements. They are not based on any fact, just your own opinion that you state as if it is fact. There are those of us on this board that actually have the facts and don't fall for your spin.
LOL! First, No one is bashing insurance co. - sm

Merely pointed out that insurance companies are "for profit" agencies and contraception is profitable. Keep workin' that 12-step program.
Again you're wrong and what time - should I pick U up for 12-step?

So Glad To See Rush LimbaughMar 06, 2012
to his knees.  (probably needs help getting up.)  I seem to remember him saying he would never apologize.  The apology was inadequate though and I hope he continues to be hounded.  He apologized for inappropriate wording and said it was not personal.  He said things about this woman for 3 days -- including asking for sex tapes, saying her parents should be ashamed of her and saying she could barely walk due to over-sexing, and he apologizes for 2 words.  Hopefu ...

"important" to the republicans are misinformed.  The whole party is very afraid to make him mad.  There have been several occasions in the past where an elected republican disagreed with him on an issue and then was pressured to go on his show and "apologize"  As the defacto leader, he must be held to responsible for his words.  If your husband or father heard him calling YOU the names he called Ms. Fluke, would he not have his teeth knocked out?  As far as Limbaugh ...

For All Rush Limbaugh FansNov 20, 2009
Taken from a segment on Countdown on Wednesday.  Laurence O'Donnell speaking about MSNBC and Keith Olbermann's involvment in the free health clinics that are being set up all over the country.  The comparison between Keith Olbermann's personal contribution and Rush Limbaugh's over so generous contribution of a product he didn't even pay for should say it all.  I guess the $400 million dollar man can't afford to give something personally . . . . Coulter Does Her Best To Out-Limbaugh RushJan 19, 2010
By David Edwards and Daniel TencerMonday, January 18th, 2010 -- 10:54 am Ann Coulter is jealous of the attention Rush Limbaugh has been getting since making his comment about the Obama administration wanting to exploit the Haitian tragedy to "burnish" his credentials with the black community. So she's making a conscious effort to out-controversy the controversial radio host, and on Fox News on Sunday, she didn't make much effort to keep that a secret. "Stop asking about Rush's ...

Jon Stewart V. Rush Limbaugh. :)May 14, 2014
I can't believe Rush can't find anything better to complain about than an awareness campaign regarding over 200 kidnapped girls. It was a South African activist who started this campaign (although the misinformed are claiming Michelle Obama started it) and these days, Twitter campaigns have played a leading role in spreading information in a world where people seem to have technology-induced ADD. Not to mention the fact that the President caught flack for sending assistance to Nigeria ...

Limbaugh Unwittingly Praises Socialized Medicine, AgainMar 10, 2010
By Stephen C. WebsterTuesday, March 9th, 2010 -- 10:38 pm Right-wing radio talker Rush Limbaugh must be confused. During a recent broadcast, he vowed to "go to Costa Rica" if President Obama is successful in passing his health reform legislation. Most assumed he meant the statement in the vein of his promise to leave New York City over its tax rates, which he did. Now Limbaugh is saying he will not leave the U.S., as in, move away. Instead, Limbaugh claims that he will simply "go to Costa Rica ...

The GOP Must Choose: Rush Limbaugh Or Minority Voters. SmNov 11, 2012
Rush Limbaugh is confused. He just can't understand why the Republican Party has so much trouble with blacks, Hispanics and women. Here's how he put it on his nationally syndicated radio show, channeling the way that a lot of conservatives are feeling after looking at the demographic breakdown of Election 2012: We have achieved, brilliant, highly accomplished African-Americans, blacks, Hispanics, you name it, throughout the Republican Party. They serve in office. Many of them ar ...
