Just hearing and reading about this today. Thousands and thousands of Latinos are rushing to apply for citizenship here to vote against Trump. In Texas they have 750,000 who are eligible for citizenship, in Arizona the number is around 139,000. One lady who has been in the US for over 20 years is now applying for citizenship. Most say the cost of becoming a citizen has been their main drawback, that being $680.00 but now even the legal ones feel threatened by what Trump has spouted off about. Trump not only has the republicans higher ups wanting to see he does not win the nomination but now he has the Latinos gathering strength to push back. ;

Some people have definite issues. Hoping a Latino somewhere is waiting to take your job at a cheaper wage. After all, they could not afford $680 to become a citizen. They must work at very cheap wages.

The reason the MTSOs have been allowed to pick our bones dry is the deregulation of labor laws combined with pro-offshoring/outsourcing REPUBLICAN agenda.

Wasn't it a Democrat who signed NAFTA? Once you realize politicians on BOTH SIDES are crooks you are ahead of the game. If you continue to buy their lies and point the finger at the opposite party as the reason your work is going to India, you cannot fix the problem. Divide and conquer is the politician's game. I have a dear Hispanic friend who is in the US without her papers. She has children born here who are citizens. I would in a heartbeat pay for her citizenship, no problem, so if I would as a Caucasian, maybe the Latinos have good friends like me.

Clinton's game. I read about this months ago where she was going to allow illegals to vote, because she knew that was the only way she could win the election and become president. It is happening, just as she wants it to happen. I think she is in competition with Bill. She will do anything to win the presidency. She sets up a private e-mail server. She barks like a dog. She lied to families whose relatives were killed in terror attack. She was quite sure Bill's cheating with various women including Monica Lewinski was a right wing conspiracy.

So, I would not call these oddball "news" sites. Do you know any Latinos that get the freebies as you describe because I know some people here, not citizens, and I do not know of their receiving freebies. I just talked to a friend tonight and she was talking about filing her taxes, not a citizen. Do not ask me how she files but she definitely files. I know another family close by that receive absolutely zilch in freebies, no insurance, no food stamps. All in all I know a total of 13 Hispanics and not one fits the picture you paint of taking just freebies.

Only documented immigrants can apply for citizenship, and the process takes around five months. Enough time to be ready for the final showdown, in case Trump gets on the Republican party ticket. I am reading that over a million are eligible in this regard. Places are holding workshops and letting people know how to navigate the road to citizenship.

my understanding that there will be a new law indicating that "illegals" will be allowed to vote without becoming a citizen first. The bill has already been presented by Clinton, so I can only assume that it will happen by the time of the election. She figures this is the only way she will win, is if the illegals can vote. You can Google this, the story is there also. These are people who have been in the US for years but never got around to becoming naturalized. When Trump came out about the "rapists, murderers" even legalized Latinos were totally aghast so a grass roots came into play and people who could become naturalized in a short period of time are doing so. No one is talking illegal. These would be naturalized citizens and have the ability to vote just like any citizen born in the US. I do not see how that would be true because you have to be a citizen, or so I thought. From what I heard this weekend, there are 750,000 alone in Texas who are eligible for naturalization and it takes about 5 months to reach naturalization. With his own "party" desperately trying to withhold his getting to the White House and with top leaders saying they would rather give the presidency away, I would know they know more than the average person and they don't even want him. I will say this, I personally have a friend who is not legal (yet but getting there with help from her mega church leader), she is paying taxes and I thought only US citizens did that.
