The Ryomney budget seemingly would like to increase military spending, reduce taxes for the wealthy and reduce the deficit. Question: Where does the money come from to do this?;

It doesn't have a budget, it has his plan for America, which is basically to cut taxes for companies to they can create jobs. Yeah Right!

They want to drill baby drill.

They want to remove all those pesky regulations that keep companies from growing. (Please build bubble to live in now to protect yourself from all the pollution and destruction that will be caused).

They want to slap china's hand and tell them to play nice.

To put it in the simplest of terms: People who are employed pay taxes. When they have a job, they buy stuff they wouldn't normally buy if they didn't have the money. When they buy stuff, the company they bought it from will expand and hire more people to keep up with the demand. Then...more people have jobs and are paying taxes.

It really IS that simple. - Capitalism works.

It's okay to spend money on wars and other things like TARP (all of which Ryan voted for and since he is a fiscal conservative, those things must be okay), and give tax breaks. Hence, less money is coming in so these things are not paid for (I thought fiscal conservatism was not spending more than comes in...).

But then we're going to take money out of the hands of the people who need it most, and by the way, raise their taxes.

I just wonder what's going to keep small and large businesses going if no one has any money? Actually that's where we are at now. No money, no consumers, no need for companies to hire because there's no business.

I just don't get how smart people don't see how it didn't work for Bush and caused this mess. This is not my opinion, this is from the mouth of the best of economists, one of which being Paul Krugman.

Everything you stated, except the AAA+ rating is not because of Obama's failed policies. It's because the job is insurmountable given the previous administrations total ineptness and the lack of compromise in Congress. I replace Bush with Obama in your post.

The AAA+ rating was because the Republicans refused to raise the debt ceiling, again something they've done without debate many times before. USA credit rating was dropped because of the instability of the relationship between the Congress and the Administration because of the Republicans. The credit rating just got in the way of the Repubicans plan to steamroll the President.

Ryan's plan (we don't know about what Romney advocates because it's unclear whether or not he supports Ryan, the Vice President pick) raises eligible age to 67 and farms out vouchers to private insurance companies for a fixed value, after which the retired over 67 year older is responsible for payment.

Obama's plan not fully implented and cost to do so has almost doubled (or tripled depending on source) from what Obama said it would be. Obamacare adds 500+ new bureaucracies (real efficiency there), 23+ new taxes to the middle class.

News Flash - Romney clearly stated "which plan" would be followed. Those actually reading and watching the news and following other informational sources would know that.

I just reviewed some of them and they all seem to be geared toward the well being of humans. I guess it might take 500+, although I couldn't find that number (and not saying it's not so), to put a rein on what the big insurance companies have been getting away with for decades.

The "super committee," a spawn of the debt ceiling debacle, and comprising equal number of Dems and Reps, as yet has not elminated the SGR (sustainable growth rate) formula which automatically reduces Medicare fees to doctors, which the AMA was counting on.

This was a congressional thing, not presidential, and again a part of the debt ceiling compromise, which had nothing to do with Obama.

Well here in California, we have passed a prop that OK's the sale of marijuana in pot shops, although it restricts exactly what areas they can run these businesses. Such as they must be at least 1 mile from schools and churches. Other restrictions too. But evidently the people of California do not want to make medical marijuana illegal.
