Cons cluelessness on full display as Cruz continues rabid crusade

in direct defiance of Koch Brothers' cease and desist decree. Governor Christie, the only potential presidential GOP contender so far demnostrating a slight hint of bipartisan appeal that could portend a viable candidacy, was notably snubbed as persona non grata by fervent zealots who declined to invite him.
This Cruz caucus public spectacle illustrates how accelerated rates of ever-deepening partisan schisms is pushing the fractured GOP beyond the limits of their suicidal mission. If those folks don't get a grip, they will find themselves DOA when the 2014 election rolls around. Meanwhile, hecklers helped liven up an otherwise crashing bore of an event, consisting mostly of those dreaded conspiracy theory buzzwords previously discussed here and declarations of victory for the TP's success at being the scariest party on the planet, backed up with their idiotic "democrats are so afraid of us" nonsense.

I enjoy expressing my own ideas in my own words, and I've had plenty of practice doing that over decades of political activism. I'm way past the need to rely on media reports and broadcasts. Had that been the case, I would have credited the source with a link. Sorry to disappoint, but thanks for the compliment.

Turning a blind eye to all that suffering in the name of political ideology? What about the personal FREEDOMS and rights of all those fellow-citizens?
What is moral or fiscally responsible about threatening to transform the country into a deadbeat nation? Slacking on previously committed credit obligations Congress already agreed to? Wreaking havoc on global markets, then turning around and tacitly dismissing these grave consequences with ill-informed statements of denial and disbelief in well-established, widely-held economic principles and precedents?
For the minority Christian theocratists and other wimpy conservatives who allow to them dominate their party, I'd suggest they stop strutting their stuff long enough to remember the life and times of Jesus Christ, who ministered to to sinners and other "lost souls," the hungry, the sick and the poor, and denounced earthly excesses of self-engrandizing godless rulers, greed, hypocrisy and all those who seek to exploit the masses. He didn't just talk the talk. He walked the walk.
So if you put all those things considered into that context, you might discover a better understanding of where the conservatives' latest fall from grace is coming from, and their need to repent the error of their ways and rejoin the human race.
