First of all, I don't think Romney looks any more tan than he usually does.

Secondly, even if Romney did fake bake a bit longer to make himself appear darker for the Latinos, that is no different than Obama suddenly developing more ebonics when he speaks to a crowd of black folks.

Thirdly, could we get back to important issues. Issues like us being $16 trillion dollars in debt, Islamic extremists attacking our embassies, Iran getting closer to having nuclear weapons, unemployment still over 8%, more people than ever being on food stamps.

I find it really annoying when there are so many important issues going on right now with our country....issues that if not fixed will break us and yet the post you bring to our attention is that Romney's skin color looks darker to you while he is speaking to a group of Latinos.

The physical appearance of candidates has LONG been a factor. During the Nixon/Kennedy debates which was the first televised presidential debate, the consensus from people who WATCHED the debate was that Kennedy won. The consensus from people who LISTENED to the debate was that Nixon won.

The discussion topic was someone critizing the way someone looks. The poster you replied to said she thought we were not to judge anyone because of what they look like (color of hair, clothes they wear, how their hair is parted, who has a tan, etc, etc).
