No COLA for Social Security recipients and disabled

This should be determined on necessity prices, not general cost of living numbers. They do not get a cost of living increase based on the statistics being skewed down by low gas prices. ;

Perhaps they should not weigh the COLA so much on gas prices, but I am making less than I did 10 years ago and others have forgone raises for many years after the Bush depression debacle. Sometimes the Seniors need to quit whining.

I personally have been a victim of an industry that has made the American dream impossible. If we can get Democratic control of the House, Senate and President again, then things will change for the better.

The new Republican party is nothing but drama. Unfortunately, they have plans to ruin our economy in the remaining months of this year and it may carry forward for years to come, just as Bush's policy did. I am praying for calm, responsible leadership on all sides to prevail over the extremists who actually, for some perverse reason, want to destroy our country and have said as much.
