Demise of Middle Class wage earners - conclusions
[ In Reply To ..]I see this destruction of the middle class is all about the Republican think tanks like ALEC feeding state legislation to destroy Unions and making all states "Right to Work (for less) states.
The decline in unions follows the wage decline very closely. This is a good example of why the Democrats need to defeat the Republicans and get the economy back on track for the middle class. I note that back in the 80s I had a full 2 weeks of paid vacation, paid sick leave, and fully paid health insurance. I also actually had the holidays off.
Women make about 22% less on Social Security than men - SM

I like Hillary--she understands that our economy is a balance of wage earners and successful business--I am not afraid of that. She has great foreign policy experience and actually knows where the countries are and who are the leaders and what makes them tick.
They are both extremely intelligent. Hillary will understand women's issues better.
I like them both and will be happy with either of them as president.
Hopefully the American people will give them State governments, House and a Senate who will work with them to make the middle class great again.

Economic effects of climate change - Subtle but there
[ In Reply To ..]I note the hamburger shows the largest rate of increase with a loaf a bread right up there. As we have seen in the last few years, record breaking droughts, floods, blizzards and bacteria and viruses have caused problems with beef, reproductive diseases in pork, and bird flu hitting the poultry sector, insects and molds suppressing the wheat supply. A little here and a little there is not so noticeable, but it all adds up.
