It is a real shame there is so much hatred in this election

I can remember when people used to get excited about the elections. Now it is all full of hatred, etc. I hate how it has become all about sex and who is the worst. Why should we have to listen to that nonsense. I want to hear facts, not hatred and hear how people destroy and protest everything. You can see now there are no morals and that is because we gave up our faiths which bolstered our morals and made us obey our laws. I feel badly for the police and for people genuinely concerned with peace, etc. I am so upset that it seems that we are black against white again and it should not be that way. What would our wonderful Reverend Martin Luther King. He along with Robert Kennedy and our beloved JFK were assassinated and all were trying to unify our country and our races. I sincerely hope that we can come together instead of further fight each other but people like George Soros and communists will do what they can to keep us divided. Let's not let this monster along with the other rich men who influence world events as well as our country's events lose their money and become toothless.;

The lack of art in such lyrics is almost as troubling as the lack of morality. They sound like the author wrote them in fifteen minutes while watching TV. There’s always been a certain amount of junk in pop music. The problem nowadays is that it has become mainstream.

Musicians are some of the biggest hypocrites like politicians! Here are some examples:

Steve Jones of the sex pistols made music with obscene words. Yet he doesn’t want his son to watch TV because it is too vulgar

The Beatles and Rolling Stones wrote antiestablishment songs but often brushed shoulders with British royalty.

Pink Floyd made a mega hit in 1979 called "We don’t need education" and hate conservatives and push socialism. Yet they live in multimillion dollar mansions and send their children to top notch colleges.

Paul McCartney admitted having a wild sexual life as a young man. Yet he admitted advising his daughter to be wary of boys.

Then in a class all by itself is the rap music. All about sex, anger, guns, killing cops, women are ho's...

just because you enjoy the music and can identify with even some of the things they talk about in the lyrics does NOT mean you agree with everything a rapper says. I for one sometimes cant understand even half of it, but if it has a good beat and I enjoy the music, I dance to it, might even sing a few verses. What you and others don't seem to get is that just because someone is black or a woman or whatever, that does NOT mean people will vote for them just because they resemble them.

Barack Obama was an exceptional candidate, an exceptional person, an inspirational statesman. Hillary Clinton is a supremely well qualified public servant.

I voted for Obama and will vote for Hillary, not because I identify with either one on the basis of race or sex, but because they are the best candidate for the job and I agree for the most part with their view of our country and goals.

Kanye is a very good musician and rapper, but he is a very unsteady person and his ideas/goals are probably not much different from Sarah Palin (who I also would never vote for).

Please don't insult the intelligence of people and assume they will vote simply because the candidate resembles them. Pretty sure the African American community has got Kanye's number, and no way they will be voting for him just because he is Kanye.
