I used to vote for who I wanted in office because we had credible, responsible candidates - promising, at the least. Now I vote to keep out the lesser of the evils.
All that aside, my thoughts for the whole nation on any election day:
1. May we all vote in peace, without threat or harm or intereference.
2. May all who are able to vote soberly cast their vote.
3. May we be able to pull together and get behind those who prevail and make the best of the process, regardless of our personal beliefs and contradictions.
4. May we be able to work together for the one common cause of ensuring this nation's freedom and progress in every aspect of life.
5. May the elections of our nation's leaders be an inspiration to all nations and provide hope for those who seek our guidance, support and association.
