Huckabee says he will leave the Republican party

Posted: Oct 10, 2014

Maybe he can join Palin in Alaska.

In the above radio interview, Huckabee stated:

“If the Republicans want to lose guys like me — and a whole bunch of still God-fearing Bible-believing people — go ahead and just abdicate on this issue, and while you’re at it, go ahead and say abortion doesn’t matter, either.”

Huckleberry didn't even have the spine to run in 2012; just like Palin, the only thing running was his mouth.

Please, please leave the R and start a - Conservative party

Or some such named party. I would love to see the clown car split into two parties.

While right now the real whackos such as Cruz and Santorum make the whole thing veer to the right, what would happen if the Republicans only had such as Paul Ryan and Rick Perry? Still no brains, not much to say, still same message, just a lot less crazy, so the tea party base will gravitate to the new Conservative or whatever party and what will be left for the Republicans?

Bet they would wish then that they weren't so anti-immigration, anti-woman and pro billionaires (anti-poor people and middle class), because the heart of the Republican party right now is the tea party, hence all the candidates need to toe the (current) party line of anti-immigration, no abortion, no equal pay for women, etc.

It would actually be good for the republicans to shed all the crazy, but certainly this election would not be a viable thing for them. I don't think it is anyway unless someone comes to their senses and maybe tries to cater to at least one of the hugely populous elements they have alienated.

Bobby Jindal said stop being the stupid party, then proceeded to make incredibly stupid statements, for someone who graduated from Brown University with a biology degree.

They are fighting a losing battle when it comes to alienating minorities, so until they can find a minority (or women) they like and get at least one plank of their platform worth voting for they will be toast. Trying to stop people voting is never a winning strategy.

Word of caution. They need to be extra careful with name selection, slogans and campaign paraphernalia. Those dangling t-bags didn't work out too well for the TP patriots.

I hope with everything I have in me that the Tea Party does not represent the Republican Party. This is what the Tea Party stands for. They are full of vitriole and hatred. This is not what the Republican party stands for. See comments by Republican Party of Orange County Chairman Scott Baugh, "It's just highly inappropriate, it's a despicable message, it drips with racism and I think she should step down from the committee," said Baugh. Obama Will Leave His Party In Its Worst Shape Since TheAug 21, 2015
As historians begin to assess Obama’s record as president, there’s at least one legacy he’ll leave that will indeed be historic—but not in the way he would have hoped. Even as Democrats look favorably ahead to the presidential landscape of 2016, the strength in the Electoral College belies huge losses across much of the country. In fact, no president in modern times has presided over so disastrous a stretch for his party, at almost every level of politics. Legacies are often tough to ...

The Base Of The Republican PartySep 28, 2015
At a campaign event in South Carolina on Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush was asked how he planned to include black people in his campaign and get them to vote for him. Bush responded, “Our message is one of hope and aspiration.” But he didn’t stop there. He continued: “It isn’t one of division and get in line and we’ll take care of you with free stuff. Our message is one that is uplifting — that says you can achieve earned success.” There it is! If you ...

What The New Republican Party Can't UnderstandOct 30, 2015
I was talking to a Republican this week who, to paraphrase him, said that the Republicans have offered the country what it wants, a woman presidental candidate and one of color.  NO!  That is not what we want. We want candidates who are intelligent and capable. What you've offered us is incompetence and labels. It isn't important to have a woman president unless she knows the issues, as Hillary Clinton does. It most certainly doesn't help to have a person of color unles ...

The Republican Party Left Me This WeekMar 05, 2011
I had been so hopeful that our country could stop fighting and get things done, but the actions of the Republican party this week convinces me that's not going to happen. I'm very discouraged and disappointed. I don't want to be a Democrat either, but the Republicans' actions are pushing me that direction. Independents, do you feel left out if you aren't connected to one of the large parties? Maybe that's what I want to do. I'm also thinking, after this week&# ...

a political party...they're not. They're a cult. Facts and reality do not matter to these people. They've morphed what was once a political party and blended it with some distortion of Christianity where they support policies that are complete contradictions of the teachings of Jesus Christ. They've convinced millions that the best way to achieve economic prosperity is through facilitating more power and wealth towards the greedy at the expense of everyone else. T ...

Undercover Clinton Operative Just Exposed; Entire Republican Party FuriousOct 31, 2016
Paul Ryan has been running a not-so-secret shadow campaign for Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton and Paul Ryan have many things in common, such as progressiveness, open borders, amnesty, special interest lobbyists, and global worldviews. It has been revealed that the Clinton campaign attempted to list a ...
