Dr. Ben Carson: Obamacare worst thing since slavery

Posted: Oct 12, 2013

I know all you libs hate anything conservative so you will only hate this video, don't even watch it cause you'll just defend your master and I don't want to hear it. But people with common sense who know what's really going on will like this. I think people who were born poor always had the American Dream to go after. What's missing is that can do attitude. The incentive to achieve your dream is starting to go away. (my own opinion). We need to re-establish the correct power structure in this nature and the correct power structure are the people not the government. The people have been beaten into submission. And it's getting worse. We the people have the power to get our country back. The world has forgotten what it's like to live under tyranny. The newer generations can't even recognize it. The Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals have 13 rules. like To the radicals: #1 Make the majority believe that their opinion is the minority opinion and that your opinion is the majority opinion. If you can co-op the media you're ahead of the game. (co-op the media) meaning teach journalism right from liberal colleges, right from the beginning. Brainwash them right from the beginning. (my own opinion again). Remember Obama called us "the enemy". What American president calls the Tea Party and the Republicans enemies!!!?? Libs will never wake up till it hits them probably in 2016. http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/ben-carson-obamacare-slavery/2013/10/11/id/530646?ns_mail_uid=32305636&ns_mail_job=1541390_10122013&promo_code=15294-1 ;

I love Dr. Ben Carson - sm

There is no reason, Alas, for us to even hope that the liberals will develop common sense at this point. They are unable to even consider the possibility that their Dear Leader doesn't give a hoot about them. They will go down with the sinking ship with the rest of us. Time will prove that they were duped by the lies of their hero and his cohorts Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Dr. Ben Carson tells the truth and doesn't cower when Obama's attack forces attempt to intimidate him. I wish Dr. Carson would run for president for 2012. If the election were held today, I think whoever is on the GOP ticket would win. Conservatives are coming out stronger than ever before and would use this chance to wipe the slate clean and start fresh with conservative leaders from top to bottom.

I so agree with you. If only they could see what he is doing to us. - But they can't. I love Dr. Carson too.

Ben Carson lied - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
He shamelessly repeated a quote incorrectly attributed to Vladimir Lenin. ("socialized medicine is the keystone to the establishment of a Socialist state.")

Lenin never said such a thing. In fact, the quote was developed by the AMA and a very strong physician lobby who wanted to secure for themselves the largest possible piece of the healthcare pie.

If he has a point to make, why did he lie? And why did he use a quote that was designed BY physicians to protect the financial interests of physicians?

WAY too factual and logical. Don't expect more than a - collective DUH in response

[ In Reply To ..]
especially since cons travel to the beat of a different drum where the use of indefensible lies is considered to be a justified strategy and is accepted as being germane to their rhetorical norms.
What I don't get is you not seeing OBAMA lied - Lied about every aspect of his healthcare plan!!!

There's a reason you - don't get it.
[ In Reply To ..]
It's the same reason the Congressional whack-job caucus cannot seem to grok why they have become so reviled in the polls these past few weeks. Go figure.

I watched a movie about him, his mother would never go on welfare SM - MT52

because she saw that everyone on it never came off of it. If anyone is interested, it's called "Gifted Hands."

Economic slavery is a terrible thing.

in their portrayal of Sonya Copeland Carson, Ben's mom. She was one of 24 (count 'em, 24) kids. Ben's dad was a Baptist minister, so it's reasonable to assume his LDS influence came from the mom's side, which would explain the mind-boggling aversion to birth control that allowed her parents to populate the earth with as many little nascent LDS prosthelytizers as human child-bearing years could possibly produce.

Consequently Sonya was brought up in a string of foster homes, an often cruel system riddled with abuse and neglect, that predated modern-day state-funded welfare systems and allowed such over-burdened families to farm their kids out to strangers or put them out for adoption so others could shoulder the financial burdens their irresponsible procreation had produced. That might help explain why she became a child bride at age 13 when she married Ben's dad, who Sonya ultimately discovered was not only a Baptist minister, but was also a Baptist bigamist, living a second secret life with another whole family she knew nothing about.

After the divorce, Sonya moved to Boston to live with her sister and brother-in-law, William and Jean Avery. Sonya's rejection of welfare dependency did not seem to carry over to include a reluctance to depend on family for financial and material support ANY single parent both needs and deserves.

The lessons I take from Sonya Carson's bio differ a bit from yours. I see right wing principles run amok, creating some truly intolerable conditions for children who find themselves caught up in a lifestyle governed by either political and/or religious dogma against a backdrop of inadequate state and federal safety nets. Evidently, Sonya was able to see that too, which made her decision to "depend" on outside help (WHEREVER she could find it) a foregone conclusion.
Where do you get your - information?
[ In Reply To ..]
All of this could not be further from the truth and you'd know that if you would stop and take a listen to the man talk about his family instead of trying to demean them and him for daring to step off the government plantation.

"little nascent LDS prosthelytizers"? - attacking someone's religion? Guess they should have been Muslim (can't say anything bad about them!).

Then why did you post? - I mean this was your first sentence

[ In Reply To ..]
I know all you libs hate anything conservative so you will only hate this video, don't even watch it cause you'll just defend your master and I don't want to hear it.

So did you post ONLY for people who already think as you did?

Ben Carson - anon

So you master and Dear Leader is Ben Carson?

Yup - Alas

[ In Reply To ..]
Yes it is meant for people who "think like me".

So then just preaching to the choir. - OK

[ In Reply To ..]
Cuz u certainly wouldn't score any points with those who you MIGHT like to reach (with the constant insults)
I was contemplating the exact same response. - You beat me to it.
[ In Reply To ..]
Great minds think alike.

I imagine if you look - hard enough,

[ In Reply To ..]
you can find a Jew who will say O-care is the worst thing since the holocaust. Absolutely ridiculous and an insult to anyone who may have lived through that.

The so-called "conservatives" are nothing more than a pathetic subclass who aren't really interested in conserving anything except a strange vision of AmeriKKKa from the 1950s while still greedily snapping up any government handout they can get their sticky paws on while mindlessly repeating and believing the lies of Fox News. The clock is ticking, the ground is quaking around them and they have pretty much unfurled all the rope they will need to hang themselves with. Buh-bye.

Wrong. We just look at the facts rather than living - in a dreamworld of entitlement! nm

So insuring the uninsured... - gg

...is tantamount to enforced labor of a class of people viewed as property? What hyperbolic nonsense.

Are you saying poor people don't get healthcare already? - alas

46.7 million and counting. - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Just another brink in the wall. AKA "We don't need no EDJUKAYSHUN," cons battle cry.

No, that's not what I'm saying. - gg

[ In Reply To ..]
There are between 45 and 50 million who are uninsured in this country. You can find this fact easily by googling it. These are mostly the working poor who don't have access to primary health care because of cost. Millions of poor people qualify for Medicaid. Millions of the working poor do not.

First of all, - NK

[ In Reply To ..]
I don't know what "Obamacare worst thing since slavery" even means. Perhaps you can explain that to me.

I don't know what your credentials are for judging poor people and determining what's wrong with them. I grew up very poor. Many times we had nothing but rice to eat. I trudged off to school many days hungry, cardboard in my shoes to keep water from seeping up through the holes in the soles of my only pair, and wet underwear because my one pair didn't dry overnight in a house without heat. The "American Dream" was the last thing on my mind. There were no "handouts," as conservatives like to call help, and even if there were, I'm not sure that my mother would have applied for them because of the stigma that people like you place on needing help. I do know that it would have broken her heart to have been dubbed a "parasite," the catch phrase in another thread on the gab board.

In regard to 2016, keep dreaming.

Here is a blog I found - alas

Not my words, the other person's words.

LONG WINDED, I KNOW; BUT HOPE YA'LL READ! AT LEAST READ LAST PARAGRAPH IF WHOLE THING IS TOO LONG FOR YOU:
EVERYBODY already had "Health Care" in this country prior to Obamacare. It's always been law that no one gets refused treatment for inability to pay. I think you're confused in the difference between "Health Care" and "Health Insurance". I believe even deadbeat Liberal dumbasses are entitled to "Health Care". Leroy, who's the guy you see drinking malt liquor outside the Mom and Pop store every day at noon; He's always gotten "Health Care" treatment at the free clinics and charity hospitals for non-emergency, or he gets help from a church or other charitable organization. In most cases, deadbeats like Leroy are already on every government assistance program in the book including medicaid for low income or totally indigent, therefore; already receiving "free" "Health Insurance". In emergency cases, Leroy has never been turned away from any hospital whether private or public charity. When he rolls in on the gurney full of bullet holes(Leroy lives in New Orleans where this is a daily occurrence), they first plug all his bullet holes before ever checking him for an "Insurance" card.
BUT!!! Not every deadbeat Liberal jack___ is entitled to "Health Insurance" on my fricking dime. My premium has skyrocketed under Obamacare. WHY? Because my pre-Obamacare premium was only meant to cover the anticipated costs of my family. My post-Obamacare premium now has to cover Leroy's anticipated costs as well, and I don't even fricking know Leroy that well. My tax dollars already go to Leroy's mailbox every month to pay for all the malt liquor that son of a bitch drinks. There's only so much more I can do for Leroy when my own family is having to go without some things these days. My belt is tightened up to the last hole in the leather now. If my income was equal to the amount of money Obama racks up just in green fees on the golf course each year, I would be able to help Leroy a lot more.
I'm not cold or callus. I'm probably one of the most generous good-hearted people you'll ever meet. I have a charitable nature; and unlike the fake bleeding heart Liberals, I actually dig into my own pocketbook when it comes to helping the needy; instead of advocating Big Daddy Government mandate it upon others. I do what I can, when I can after meeting the needs of my own family first. Yea, that's right; my flesh and blood kin come first. That's human nature; and screw you if you say that makes me selfish.
Sure there were flaws in our "Health Insurance" system, not our "Health Care" system which is the best in the world(subject to change due to Obamacare). Our "Health Insurance" system needed to find ways to insure pre-existing conditions at affordable costs and lower overall premium costs. Obamacare doesn't lower costs. It raises costs for most working class people. Conservatives had some ideas on how to tweak the system; the first being opening up more competition between insurance companies by allowing purchase of premiums across state lines and allowing Capitalism and Free Enterprise(things Liberals despise) to work their magic; where you'd have several dozen or hundreds of insurance companies to shop instead of just 2 or 3 in your home state. Why do Liberals oppose that? We didn't need to throw the baby out with the bath water. We didn't need to turn over another 1/6th of our economy to an already corrupt, overreaching, incompetent, fat bloated pig of a government. And to place it under the power of the IRS for Christ's sake? I'm sure it will turn out just peachy. Afterall, Socialism does have a long history of success doesn't it?........NOT!
You should check out the Obamacare calculator(google it). Notice that the higher level of income you report, the higher your share of Obamacare premium cost. Your premium cost is no longer based upon the Capitalist system of what your family's needs are. Your premium cost is now based upon the Socialist system of what your level of income is. Obamacare is nothing more than a clever new "TAX THE RICH" system. It is classic "WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION" as promised by yours truly King Obama. Do you really think Obama gives a rat's ass whether you live or die. I hope your voter registration card says Democrat on it if you ever have to face the Obamacare death panel in need of a pacemaker at the age of 85. Remember, the IRS is running this train wreck; I hope to hell you don't have any links to the Tea Party. If so, just consider 85 a ripe old age and go quietly into the night.
Annual Obamacare premium cost for a Louisiana family of 5(from the Obamacare calculator) is $12,207 regardless of your income level. But here's the kicker: How much of that you pay, and how much gets subsidized by higher wage earning taxpayers, depends upon your income level. Leroy will pay nothing and have the entire $12,207 subsidized for him by wage earners. As a middle income working stiff, I will pay a portion of the $12,207 and the rest will be subsidized for me by higher income wage earners. Those making above $120,000 will be the full subsidizers and will pay the entire $12,207 so as there is enough money in the pot to take care of Leroy. TEXTBOOK SOCIALISM! Something I was damn set against and volunteered to fight against when I entered service 31 years ago. That oath I took didn't end when my active duty service ended; it will live on until the day I die. I will not allow Socialism/Communism to take over my beloved country and destroy what my wise forefathers shed their blood for so that I could have a better life. I have a 3 month old granddaughter now(my first one). I will shed my blood if need be to ensure she has a better life and this LIBERAL SOCIALIST CRAP IS NOT IT!

If you fully understand the implications and overreach of this law the number of ways this "plan" can be abused by those in power; to force us to d x, y & z, or suffer severe consequences, is infinite.

Brings to mind that Grand Old Conservative Ronald Reagan predicting that with the passage of Medicare Americans would lose their freedoms. You know, kinda like Ted Cruz paraphrased in his address to the tea party crowd last week in regard to the ACA.
Someone should give Cruz - a clue.

"You are no Reagan, Sir," similar to the way the late, great Lloyd Benson so delicately put it when he gave Dan Potatoe-head Quayle a much needed reality check during the VP debate.

No thanks. The first sentence is a lie, making all the rest - a waste of time. nm

Obamacare Meltdown Has Arrived. Tennessee Is Ground Zero For Obamacare'sOct 07, 2016

Obamacare Is Failing From Behind... His Goals For ObamacareJul 20, 2016
1) Have it collapse so that single payer can be implemented amidst the ensuing chaos. 2) Have that happen on somebody else’s watch. Obamacare was designed to fail so the Democrats could “reform” it with complete government provided socialized medicine. That is the entire purpose for it. Obamacare is designed to collapse so they can backfill the vacuum with government run socialized medicine. Eventually, everyone will be on some form of Medicare.
