Ben Carson has a character flaw problem
Posted: Oct 8, 2015
In the past 2 days, 2 casual comments--not borne of facts--just his opinion, and thus, just his character.
He thinks the people in Oregon should have jumped the shooter. I find his criticism of the survivors and the damage he is doing to the survivors is obscene. I understand questioning why no one approached him, sort of wondered that myself, but for him to think himself omniscient and give the advice that they "should have" jumped him, without any real knowledge of the situation is repugnant.
Then, in an interview with radio SiriusXM Host Karen Hunter he recalls having had an encounter where he was in a store when a person stuck a gun in his ribs and he glibly recounts that he told the guy "I think you have the wrong person, I think you want him (indicating the store clerk). Well, that sure is brave.
He is missing something in his character. I think he would be a terrible mistake as U.S. President. ;

The news media did not show the entire question and answer he gave, so this is not a true statement.
They are out to get him because he and Trump are gaining traction. I personally hope no Democrat gets elected or re-elected to any post.
Not that I am not disappointed in both parties, I sure don't want Bernie Sanders nor Hildabeast's administration.

The MSM feeds the libbies what they WANT to hear and they fervently lap it up, believing everything they're told to believe. We're in sad shape in this country because of the ignorance out there.
So what was the rest of it? I've heard more - than just a clip, but obviously not there

From Fox interview:
If gunman walks up and puts a gun at you and asks what religion are you, that is the ultimate test of your faith.
Carson: "I’m glad you asked that question, because not only would I probably not cooperate with them, I would not just stand there and let them shoot me. I would say, hey guys, everybody attack him, he may shoot me, but he can’t get us all."
Just because he chuckles, smiles and says this calmly does not make him any less condescending and disconnected from the reality of the situation.
Carson's right. The killer has less time to take perfect - aim when he's being rushed.

Doctors can do a lot with a wounded person... not so much with someone shot in the head at point blank.
I'm sure it was a very surreal event. Nobody really knows how they would react. Your adrenaline is rushing.
If a killer is lining you up and shooting people one by one, some may just stand there and wait their turn, but others may charge. But where some fail, just one might succeed. Just ask Chris Minz or Spenser Stone.
The problem is not with the advice per se - it is inappropriate/insensitive of him
[ In Reply To ..]
to give that advice--as some would say "too soon."
Carson is repeatedly having to explain his obtuse comments. I'm listening to him now....frankly, I think he is just sick, perhaps mentally ill. I've been watching his eyes sort of glass over, and he talks a little too slowly. I think there is something really wrong with him.
I am sure someone is talking to those people about how this happened and what the psychology of it was. My thought is that the killer was so calm that each one thought that this cannot be happening, that he will stop with that one, that we are better off if we just do as he asks. I'm sure it is surreal.
Radio interview over debt limit and budget - Carson doesn't know the difference
[ In Reply To ..]
Marketplace on NPR - Kai Risdal--It was not a gotcha question. He really tried to redirect him. When questioned about raising the debt limit, Carson very calmly and methodically kept talking about the budget instead of the debt limit. HE DOESN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!
The media thinks Obama is the most brilliant man. Never - mind he once said we have 57 states,

Europe is a country (it's not, it's made up of countries), something a United States President should know, although under the Common Core curriculum that might be acceptable.
Go to you tube and type in Obama gaffes... Plenty!

Completely different from misspeaking - he truly doesn't understand
[ In Reply To ..]
I am certain if you repeated the phrase "57 states" to President Obama, he would laugh and correct himself.
Carson was given clues at least 3 times, quietly, calmly....he DOESN'T GET IT.
He will by this afternoon...I am certain.

He is going back to the root of the problem - we don't have a budget - if we had a budget and followed it, we wouldn't have to worry about raising the debt limit.....duh

Jeb Bush is the candidate of choice for the Republican party. You notice how they tout him---he is so great-never say a bad thing about him. He gets the most questions at every debate, handled with kid gloves. Well, he is the devil, right in bed with Obama and all the hellish minions in Washington. That is why they try to make Dr. Ben Carson look bad at every turn, because he can't be bought. Do not believe everything the media spouts.

Actually, Dr. Carson said that's what HE would have done, never said the shooters should have. They were mostly young people and scared to death, I am sure; however, Carson is right. Even if you ran, you would have a better chance of getting away from a shooter than standing there letting him shoot you.

Government: The Fatal FlawDec 18, 2015The main reason we need government, of course, is that the human creature by nature is wayward in its behavior. He often does what he ought not to do, and fails to do what he ought to do, and that's when government steps in either to coerce those who wish to avoid punishment, to punish those who do not, and to extort resources for common purposes that, in a perfect world, would be given voluntarily out of a sense of responsibility toward one's fellow beings.
But, if man is waywa ...
Another Grave Clinton Personality Flaw (as If She Needed One)Sep 16, 2016We've seen this throughout her career - most recently with the emails and the Benghazi debacle. Rep Andre CarsonAug 31, 2011I understand the tea party group is pretty unpopular these days, but is this really a fair assessment? IMO, the majority of the tea party members do not want to return to a day of slavery or lynching and it's completely unfair to group all the tea party members in with a few that might be racist. I don't always agree with the tea party, especially the freshman members in congress, but I'd be willing to bet none of them want to hang anyone from a tree.

Dr. Benjamin CarsonFeb 12, 2013I watched part of his speech at the prayer dinner while Obama sat there looking angry and in his own thoughts. He said he prayed before he went up there to talk to ask God to give him the right words to say. And he did. I was told by one of my friends that I should watch Carson on Meet the Press...it was outrageous, funny, (all the other side political jabbing, you know how it goes, most of you do it with Hilary).
