Communist Party sues Democrats on platform theft

Posted: Sep 9, 2012

I think there can be only one word for this - "Wow"  or maybe "hmmmm" or maybe "we told you so" (oops, nope that's four words) LOL

If you don't like the link, Google it and take your pic (and Google is inundated with more left favorable links than right)

;

They shouldn't sue. They should merge. You can't - tell one from the other anyway.

The policies and ideologies of the democrat party are intertwined. NOW, before anyone gets their panties in a bind I'm not talking about anyone on the board here. I'm talking about the party itself. People get lost in the party line. I think the separate parties are only there for people to argue. If they see people arguing then they've done their job and they can pass whatever they want to and people won't notice because they are too busy fighting with each other over their "club" they belong to (as George Carlin stated so well).

The democrat party is no longer the party for the people. It's no longer the party of JFK or the good democrats. It's been overtaken and it's anything but for the people.

Dems have their commie wing, GOP has their Neo-Nazi fascists. - The suit is stupid

and is doomed to fail, as all frivolous lawsuits should. PUBLIC DOMAIN intellectual property? Absurd. IP laws apply to private sector businesses and individuals. This rubbish will never fly. They'd have better luck suing the entire polity over "co-opting" their ideas, either for purposes of alleged embodiment or mispreprentation of their ideals and who may or may not be members.

Speaking of rubbish, the article just as much about the phoney scandal wingers are trying to create over the god plank in the DNC platform, which was controversial amongst its own members for all of 10 minutes. Belief in god is a matter of faith by definition. So is adherence to Sharia law, which is the RNC's own anti-religion platform plank, founded in fear and division. To claim the moral high ground on this is the height of hypocrisy....AGAIN.

Government legislation of religious belief systems and practice is prohibited. Its separation from government is encoded in the Constitution, a founding principle that has been upheld over time ever since. References to them in EITHER platform does not stand up to scrutiny when those principles are applied.

It's worth noting here that freedom of religion is also freedom FROM religion. Take this argument back to the pulpit-and-pew crew where it belongs, and leave the "non-believers" alone to deal with the consequences of their own decisions. If you want a theocracy, move to Iran.

need we say more? are you happy to associate yourself with partisans so weakminded that they believe satire is real? It's frightening.
Wellllll, now that you asked - annieb

The lol was in response to the obvious misuse of the word SATIRE. In fact having to scream it out was quite hysterical since she had nothing to say about the article. But actually I could care less about what those that are blind will not see.

And yes, I am happy to be associated with such intelligent forward thinking people. People who understand what is wrong with the country and have ideas on how to get us back up from the cliff the country was thrown off of.

So, are you happy to associate yourself with partisans so weakminded and brainwashed that they don't see the truth of the matter if it jumped out and said, yes its true. Oh wait it already has. Now that's frightening.

"GOP Platform Through The Years Shows The Party's ShiftSep 06, 2012
This article from the Washington Post is easy reading, very interesting, not offensive to anyone, and gives a quick historic overview through our lifetimes. As it says, "What it means to be a Republican has changed enormously over the past half-century." The platforms of 1980 and 1992 are the biggies, the big "pivot points."  The watershed platform of 1980 introduces tax cuts and an increasingly critical attitude toward government. “The Republican Party declares war on governm ...

Democrats Burned By Polling Blind Spot. The Party Didn't Just LoseMar 29, 2017
missed them altogether. As they investigate the forces behind the party’s stunning losses in November, Democrats are coming to a troubling conclusion. The party didn’t just lose among rural white voters on Election Day, it may have failed to capture them in its pre-election polling as well. Many pollsters and strategists believe that rural white voters, particularly those without college degrees, eluded the party’s polling altogether — and their absence from poll results may have been ...

The dispute centers on Al Jazeera’s refusal to turn over “tens of millions of dollars” remaining in an escrow account and still owed to the selling shareholders of Current TV, according to a statement from David Boies, the lawyer representing Mr. Gore and a Current TV co-owner, Joel Hyatt, who are suing on behalf of all the selling shareholders. “Al Jazeera America wants to give itself a discount on the purchase price that was agreed to nearly two years ago,” Mr. Boies said. “We a ...

This charleton makes me want to vomit every time I see mention of him. I am glad the people of Kentucky are waking up to the kool-aid drinking creationist theme park in their midst.  If only they would call it an amusement park, it might border on acceptable, but it is nothing more than furtherance of brain-washing. Kentucky has wised up and will not give them over $18 million in tax incentives as the Creation "Museum" discriminates in hiring practices.    http://scienceblogs. ...

Congress and governors have clamored for action in the face of a rising tide of opioid addition and deaths, but part of the trouble might come from inside the government itself. Bernie Sanders PlatformMay 07, 2015
Income and wealth inequality: In the United States today we have the most unequal wealth and income distribution of any major country on earth -- worse than at any time since the 1920s. This is an economy that must be changed in fundamental ways. Jobs and income: In my view, we need a massive federal jobs program which puts millions of our people back to work. We must end our disastrous trade policies. We need to raise the minimum wage to a living wage. And we have to fight for pay equity ...

RNC Chair Priebus: GOP Platform Is Not NecessarilyAug 22, 2012
This is a bold strategy indeed for the party creed rollout….a candidate disclaimer stating they are not bound to abide by party principles.  I guess it’s a handy escape hatch for a nominee who HAS no core beliefs.  See, the party wants to run on the personhood plank, but they just don’t want to damage their candidates’ future political careers too much by making them say it out loud, in case they need to recycle the VEEP candidate in 2016.  That Reinc ...

I hope with everything I have in me that the Tea Party does not represent the Republican Party. This is what the Tea Party stands for. They are full of vitriole and hatred. This is not what the Republican party stands for.
