Yep, it's official. Ben Carson is the RNC's Herman Cain encore. He sure packed a mouthful of buffoonery for his weekend retreat as these unedited lunchtime remarks illustrate:
"A bunch of rag tag militiamen defeated the most powerful and professsional military force on the planet. Why? Because they believed in what they were doing. They were willing to die for what the believe in. Fast forward to today. What do we have? You've got ISIS. They've got the wrong philosophy, but they're willing to die for it while we are busily giving away every belief and every value for the sake of political correctness. We have to change that."
After that he called out the press who were lurking in the shadows just in case they were thinking of using the direct quote in their reports:
"Now I recognize that there's press here and some of the press will say, 'Carson said that ISIS is the same as the United States. They are so ridiculous, so ridiculous."
His comments got rousing applause from the GOP audience as Priebus rushed in to do damage control duty by translating the comments into politically correct terms, just minutes after Ben finished taking his pot shots at political correctness.
The retired neurosurgeon believes making healthcare affordable is the worst thing that has happened since slavery and says it's worse than 09/11 since the WTC attack only lasted for one day. In his eyes, living in the US is very much like living in Nazi Germany because we all are so afraid to say what we actually believe. Has this guy ever used social media in his life? Ever?
