The amendment to legalize marijuana recieved 50,000 more votes than Obama...lol. I wonder what the weather is like there. I could use a change of scenery :);

Four distinct seasons, awesome scenery and a - tourist sector that's about to explode.

Having fun here trying to imagine creative related jobs that may be opened up by this measure. Perhaps food products such as infused take-home baked goods, candy shop or an open-arms small motel court eager to welcome the influx of new visitors, with fudge or brownies on every pillow and a small potted plant on the bedside table?

Betcha the depression rates associated with Seattle's rainy days and overcast skies that dominant their Koppen Oceanic Cfb climate will take a steep precipitous nosedive.

One day there's a blizzard or 12' of snow and the next day it's 72 degrees. That's cold and flu weather to me and turns me off. I like the temperatures a little more less drastic, but yes, Colorado is a beautiful state.

Don't careful Colorado. Denver is all flat. - Takes hours from Denver to ski.

I like Oregon the best and Washington second. Oregon is the most gorgeous wine, 4 season country. No mosquitoes. Takes 45 minutes to go skiing from Portland and 45 minutes to head to the coast and scenery is unbelievable. It is more of a misty rain and all summer long NO RAIN. I have the water bills to prove it!

What a sad day for many in Colorado. You go to see a movie you have been waiting anxiously to come out and someone goes psycho and kills a bunch of people. They said he bought a ticket and then propped the emergency exit door open to get his guns and bring them back in. Aren't those emergency exits suppose to have alarms that go off when opened? My hubby and I are taking two full weeks off and heading to Colorado on our Gold Wing motorcycle in July. We live in Ohio so we are either going to head north through Michigan and the UP to go to Mt. Rushmore on the way (or on the way back depending on what July weather brings). We will be going through Wyoming, S. Upon awakening this morning I turned on news and could not believe what I was hearing. I thought at first maybe this was the anniversary of Columbine shooting. Then on further listening and waking up, I realized this was entirely different setting and present day.
