Do you wax, shave, or use hair removers on your arms

If so how do you deal with the regrowth between waxings/shaving?

Because I wear shorts and sleeveless tops. In the fall and winter, HA! Why bother! Also after being married for 20 years, my DH doesn't really care if I have hairy legs and I don't care that he's going bald!

I'm lucky though, I don't have much in the way of body hair and my leg hair is blonde because I'm about as white as they come. :)

I can't use hair removers, they give me rashes and burn. Again, probably because I'm so fair complected and my skin is just sensitive. Never tried waxing.

How To Shave My CatsOct 14, 2013
Ok, maybe not shaving my cat but here is the rundown. I have 4 cats, 2 with extremely long furry coats and they shed so much that I am almost drowning in fur. Just kidding about this but it is a lot that my hubby tells me to use the commercial vacuum we have to get it up. I did have a company that would shave the cats down about once a year but now they do not have groomers there any longer. Some places will shave but they require for your cats to have shots including rabies and from what I r ...

Question About Hair. I Am Older And Have Rather Fine Hair But I Do Jan 24, 2017
get it foiled with some color in it.  I have been thinking about a curly perm but I am not sure what kind to get and I would have my hairdresser do it.  I dont want a fuzz ball so I am wondering if anyone here has tried this on colored hair just streaked color.  I want a good perm that would last for a while and have curl to it but not tight.  My hairdresser does not carrying prems anymore and the company they deal with does not sell them either.  They are expensive ...

Broken Arms From Patting ThemselvesApr 09, 2011
Now instead of listening to each party blame the other party for a government shutdown, we now get to hear each party pat themselves on the back for reaching an agreement on the budget.  Woo hoo!  I feel like I've just watched the longest TV drama and the ending was a major flop.  Now we can all go back to our luxury vacations and golf outings, right?  *puke* ...

Putin See $5B In Arms For ChavezApr 06, 2010
I hope the U.S. is keeping an eye on Columbia. This can't be good.   Venezuela may spend more than $5 billion to buy Russian weapons, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Monday, signaling that the country is a larger market than Russia had expected. Putin, who met Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Friday, did not say what time span the potential contracts would cover, but he implied that they were almost a done deal. “Sources for funding have been generally determined a ...

Hillary Approved Arms Sales After Big Donations FromAug 25, 2016
eyebrow-raising stories from the Clinton Foundation “pay to play” scandal is Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain – whose kingdom donated up to $150,000 directly to the Foundation, plus another $32 million to the Clinton Global Initiative – securing a meeting with the Secretary of State, after which she approved some highly controversial arms sales to Bahrain.... Included among the Abedin-Band emails is an exchange revealing that when Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain requested a meeting with ...

US Blocking Shipments Of Arms To Help Kurds Fight ISISJul 02, 2015
If so, why is the United States blocking shipments of heavy armaments to the Kurds? They should be our best friends in the Muslim world and have demonstrated their capacity as excellent fighters with boots on the ground in fighting ISIS. Which, not so incidentally, wants to kill their men and make sex slaves of their women. Con Coughlin of the U.K. Telegraph reports: The United States has blocked attempts by its Middle East allies to fly heavy weapons directly to the Kurds fighting Islam ...

âBible Codeâ Arms Supplier Sponsors Christian Radio MinistryJan 19, 2010
By Raw StoryMonday, January 18th, 2010 -- 4:00 pm For years, many Islamic clerics have been arguing that the US's war on terror is a "holy war" against Islam. Now, those critics of US foreign policy have more ammunition to argue their point. A Michigan supplier of sights for high-powered rifles has long been etching subtle references to Jesus on equipment it sells to the US military, possibly in contravention of army regulations that forbid religious proselytization. Trijicon Inc., of Wi ...

Is There Any Help For My HairMay 01, 2011
I understand as we grow older our bodies change, skin gets saggy, wrinkled, loses elasticity, etc and our hair changes.  What I'm wondering is this.  Is there a product, vitamin, or whatever that can make your hair look younger and healthier.  Growing up I had beautiful hair, soft natural curls that the hairdressers said people would die to have curls that are natural like that.  Now at 51 years old my hair is coarse, and frizzy.  I can find some curls here and ther ...

Dog HairJun 14, 2011
For those of you with dogs that shed (like my Golden), can you share you grooming schedule and favorite brush? I've used to use a rake but found a tool that's cheaper than a Furminator (sp?) and doesn't rip the skin. It's made by Oster and called a Shedzilla. I've been brushing him every couple of days but this time of year, I'm wondering if I should do it more often? I like to do it outside to keep the fur out of the house as much as possible. ...

Hair Falling OutFeb 04, 2012
I am devastated right now.  I had long, thick beautiful hair and over the past couple of months I have noticed a big change in it.  Now it is falling out!  Long strands just letting loose.  At this rate, I will be bald in a couple of weeks and that is not an exaggeration.  It doesn't even look or feel like hair.  It is shriveling up and is very light and falling out!  How and why can this happen and will it stop?  Has this happened to anyone? ...

Help - Need Hair Color FixFeb 01, 2010
A few days ago I colored my hair black.  The box said (and looked like it would be a soft black), and it turned out way blacker than I imagined (if that's possible).  I usually go brown, but the reason I went black was to try to get back to as close as my natural color while the gray is coming in.  I really didn't want to color my hair, however, between the brown I last colored it, the gray coming in, and the "soft" black that was mixed in with the gray I had too many co ...

I Have A Hair Question Too, For Those Of You With - SmMay 01, 2011
alopecia areata, have you tried any home remeadies that have worked?  I have gone to the dermatoloigst, have received 3 sets of cortisone shots to the scalp so far, no luck, just a few fine hairs coming in.  It should have all grown back at this point from the injections.  So now we are waiting a year to see if anything changes (been about 2 years already so looks pretty permanent right now).  Doc gave me samples of Protopic but basically said she did not expect it to work bu ...

Do You Wash Your Hair Every Day?Jul 02, 2010
I know they say to only wash your hair every other day but I have never been able to do that. I shampoo/condition my hair every day as I cannot stand the feeling of my hair being dirty or greasy-looking or whatever. I am 28 and have pretty long hair and my hair has always been really healthy so I have never tried to force myself to not wash it everyday. Does it really damage your hair? ...

Pink HairAug 03, 2010
Can anyone recommend a product that will cover gray/white roots without turning my hair a pink color?  Some years ago I was using over the counter color and was actually approached by people, telling me my hair was "purple."  I told my stylist and she said the over  the counter products have a violet base, and when applied to brown hair it gives a pretty highlight.  If you apply it to hair that has lost its color it soaks up the violet color and that's what you see.  ...

Wen Hair Care?Apr 15, 2012
Battling insomnia last night, I watched an infomercial for this product and the thought behind it makes sense to keep one's hair at its healthiest (especially if platinum blond, like I currently am). Has anyone tried Wen and, if so, what did you think of it?  I currently use organic products but keep thinking this might be a better option to keep my hair in semi-decent condition, considering how I abuse it with bleach, straightening tools, etc. ...

Hair Dye What To Buy Tired Of ColorsilkDec 03, 2009
I have long hair that usually takes about 3 boxes of dye.  I usually only do it about 2-3 times a year and do the all over color each time because my color tends to fade.  I think hair dye might be one of those things that you get what you pay for.  I usually buy the Colorsilk ($2-$3 at Walmart) because it is cheaper and I am usually broke.  This year I think I will splurge a little and buy a more expensive brand.  In the past I have tried the Herbal ess. and Natrual Ins ...

I Am About To Frost My Hair. Any Tips?Nov 09, 2010
I actually have Loreal in a box but also went out a year ago and bought the individual products.  I finally have the nerve to do it as my hair is dull mouse brown and long - and now looking lifeless and bland.  I am 50 and want to enjoy long hair for a bit longer before I chop it off for convenience sake.   Should I make small streaks or bold. Wash it out fast or go for the sun streaked look.   I just wonder if you could tell me how to not screw it up.   Thank you. ...

No More Brittle Hair Or Dry Skin.Sep 20, 2010
If any of you have problems with brittle hair and dry skin, try a shower filter.  The water in your shower is filled with chemicals, minerals, and the same or more amount of chlorine as swimming pool water.  I just purchased an Aquasana shower filter.  In less than 1 week, I have noticed a tremendous difference in the softness of my hair and skin.  It is like showering in pure spring water.  There is no way I would ever go back to using plain shower water again!  ...

Casey Anthony's HairJun 21, 2011
