Shellie Zimmerman and dear hubbie conspired to hide website contributions by spreading them around in various family members bank accounts. They planned to deliberately transfer the money in less-than-$10,000 increments to avoid mandatory requirements for the bank to report the deposits to various government agencies, including the IRS.
The web funds were supposedly collected for Zimmerman's legal defense, but DH instructed Shellie to pay off their existing American Express and Sam's Club credit balances instead! Meanwhile, after hiding the funds and keeping the attorney in the dark, Shellie stayed quiet when Mr. O'Mara told her about his plan to get state TAXPAYERS to bankroll the "indigent" couple's court costs (where's the outrage?).
Dodging taxes, paying off personal charge cards with legal defense funds, trying to get a get-out-of-jail-free card by bilking taxpayers, then covering their tracks by lying, allegedly out of "fear, mistrust and confusion." Yeah, that stand your ground law is a real keeper.

What happened to the 17 year old's right to "stand HIS ground?" HE is dead. Zim is just trying to get out of it now by grasping at straws and he is just not smart enough to get away with it. How on earth did he get his poor little head beaten over and over into the cement? This is so exaggerated and so wrong, it is pathetic. He stalked the poor kid and shot him. In my opinion, the kid had a right to defend himself against this overgrown police wanna be monster. If he got in a couple of licks before he was shot point blank in the chest, good for him! So Zim had a little cut on the back of his head. Big deal! What about the "wounds" he inflicted on Tayvon? Seems to me they were more noticeable and need to be accounted for. Police video show no "serious" injuries to the perpetrator at all! No documentation his nose was actually broken, and no sutures in his head, which means they were superficial wounds and more likely self inflicted to try to support his theory of stand your ground. He is guilty, plain as day. BUT, he will probably be set free, the gov will get his money that supporters "donated" and it will be another Casey Anthony trial all over again. Paid for by the public. and justice will not have been served once again. Poor Trayvon. May he rest in peace!
