Ya know, is it too much to ask when I order pizza for delivery with soda

Okay, I know seems like small fries compared to some of the problems here, but dang it I was looking forward to a nice glass of cold pepsi with my pizza.

I can't get out so I ordered delivery. I don't have ice. Didn't realize I'd have to specify "cold" when I ordered soda. Silly me, thought a pizza place would know this.

So now I sit here with the bottle of pepsi in the freezer hoping it will get cold fast while my pizza is getting cold.

Yes, yes, I know a glass of water would be healthier for me, but somehow a glass of water with pizza doesn't cut it.

Okay, just has to vent about that. I'm upset. Think I'm having a major PMS breakdown and now this.

Sorry to take you all away from reading important stuff on this board and sorry to have bothered you all, just had to write my frustration down.

I have an old-fashioned, non-frost-free refrigerator. In a pinch, I've been known to scrape some of the ice off the top of the freezer to put in my soda.

Funny - I think I'm actually more addicted to ICE than I am to soda!

I know it's a bit late, but I'm happy your issue is resolved. It is annoying to order pop with pizza and have it show up warm, pms or no.

first, I said it was small fries, but I am having major PMS and needed to vent. Sorry to have bothered you, according to you we should only write messages here if they are more serious than the OK disaster.

The poster who has a friend whose negative? The poster who couldn't get creamy grits? Friend with OCD? All of them according to you probably should not have written since their problem is not as bad as the OK tragedy.

Last I new this board was a "gab" board. Ya know, to "gab" about thing good or bad. Didn't realize we were only supposed to gab about things only if they are worse the the OK tragedy.

I was having PMS (STILL AM) and so this is what bothered me tonight and I felt like writing about it. Maybe you should provide us all with a list of things we are allowed to write about that doesn't make any of us look so shallow.

Used PMS for an excuse for being witchy, then when she got her actual period that month, it was her period. Well, she finally hit menopause, and it's looking like she's going to use that for the rest of her life.

Gotta say, nothing worse than a warm soda, though. Since you have a freezer, make sure you always have a couple of ice cubes on hand.

A couple of questions: Why didn't you have ice? It would have been faster to freeze a couple of trays than it would to put the bottle in the freezer, which by the way may explode when you try to open it. The delivery place probably had no way to keep it cold en route, either. It was probably cold when they left to bring it to you. Life goes on.

I don't think OP ever implied or said this was a serious problem or the most serious problem in anyone's life. More like sharing a silly little annoyance with friends. Then some of the "friends" told her she should just shut up because the crisis in Syria or OK tornadoes were real problems. *geese*

I even said it was small fries, it was just something that really bugged me at that moment. I felt like screaming. No, certainly it was not the most serious problem in my life, but I was so unbelievably bugged about it. Then the OK comment just really was out of line. But now it's the next day and that's done with. All new problems in my life, but jeepers man I'll never write them here because, after all, they'll never be as serious as the problems people are having in Syria or OK, so I am not worthy the make any postings here. LOL

I recently decided to quit drinking soda for the billionth time. I have been a soda drinker since I was around 5-years-old in the 80s as my parents were also soda drinkers. The judge blocked the law taking effect temporarily until a hearing is held and there will be a ruling on the merits. Were they were in special session or open session?
