"I've basically lived a conflict-free life."

Hmmm, I wonder, was this before or after you killed your ex-wife and Ronald Goldman?;

OJ - Liar from day 1

[ In Reply To ..]
I was driving my car when I heard that statement on the radio. I almost slammed on my brakes, because I couldn't believe what I had just heard. He is such a liar and everyone on his team with the original trial and the jury to boot. In a way I hope they do let him out and no one is waiting for his return, especially his "four" children. I think someone got that wrong? Good ole OJ will be on Social Security; perhaps Walmart is hiring in Brentwood!

He should rot in jail.

Unfortunately I am familiar with the parole system. - sm

He will most probably be paroled to somewhere in Nevada, unless Nevada agrees to an interstate transfer with California and California agrees to have him paroled there, BUT, he has to have an approved residence in place and agree to all kinds of rules and regs. Parole is oftentimes harder on the inmate than just doing the time itself. It takes a while for the arrangements to be made, that is why they are saying he will probably be released in October.

He wants to go back to Florida. - I have an idea.

Give him a place to live near a sinkhole. Maybe he'll sink into the depths of hell, where he belongs.

The Conflict On The CA VerdictJul 10, 2011
Let's say you were married, then divorced.  What if you and your ex shared custody of your young child.   Then say your ex did not return your child to you on the appropriate date.  He began telling you stories that would cause a "delay" in the child's return.  As time went on and you began pressing more and more to get your chiild back ,he then came up with more reasons why he could not return your child to you,  ALL of which were found to ...

Why Has "conflict" (Jerry Springer Type) TV Become So Pervasive?Feb 18, 2017
They also call it "reality" TV, and as so often happens, reality is beginning to imitate art.  This morning I was interested in watching a program about people who buy houses, renovate and flip them.  What I got to watch was a very obviously ginned up, nasty, crude, continually vulgar fight among the different "partners" as to who would do what, what would be done, how it should be done, and virtually EVERY aspect of the renovation.  These "partners" were shoving each other, cuss ...

Basically, People Don't Want TrumpOct 09, 2016
Hard to believe in the U.S. this is the best either of the major parties could up with. Trump's real flaw is that he sees any kind of compromise/changing his mind/apologizing/clarifying as weakness. Being stubborn for the sake of saving face is mildly amusing in a 6-year-old, annoying in a teenager, perilous in a world leader. I won't vote for someone who isn't human enough to say, "I made a mistake." ...

If I Lived In CaliforniaAug 20, 2012
What a crazy political climate in that state. I feel for ya'. Banks were mandated to make these risky loans, then were asked to absorb the financial loss. California decided to use taxpayer money to pay those mortgages. Unbelievable. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/08/20/us-taxpayers-bailout-california-homeowners-as-banks-fail-to-pay-their-share/ ...

Having Lived In Southern California For Decades, I'm Not Only Nov 20, 2012
but I miss it and find the more insular, mostly white Christian town I live in now sadly lacking in important ways. My society in L.A. was mostly white, mostly born and raised there, but with plenty of variety, like our Japanese-American neighbors, the black guy in the next office with a passion for French antiques, a Turkish friend whose wistful descripions of the farm she grew up on sound like a little paradise, the accountant who's probably gay, a Yemeni-American manager with a terrific ...

Mr President, Do Know How Many People Lived On Ramen Noodles To Get You Elected?Oct 19, 2009
How many gave up savings? How many people gave up entertainment? How many people sensing the collapse of our financial system literally threw you forward like a Hail Mary pass in hopes that you would act in our best interest; you know, the *people* people of the United States?I'm now unemployed, uninsured, and foreclosed. All of these issues were addressed in your campaign promises. Do you think we as a group of evermore impoverished plain Americans we can preserver as long as the Democratic ...

"Yet another individual directly involved in Donald Trump’s Russia scandal has dropped dead under suspicious circumstances, and for the first time, the deceased is a United States citizen. Love LifeFeb 25, 2010
Adult subject.  Please be forewarned, I am seeking genuine opinions in this matter.  I am not seeking to instigate a riot.   My husband is a lousy lover.  We have been married for 13+ years and I guess it will never change.  I have guided, instructed, suggested, taken over, recommended... with no results.  He mostly lays there like a slug and (I guess) WANTs me to take over, but it ends up being a CHORE and there is no positive end result for me. I have been avo ...

A Day In The Life Of A LiberalJul 25, 2012
Your day as a liberal begins at the crack of dawn with early morning yoga followed by a quick bite of dried seaweed breakfast before hitting the road to attend your latest "peaceful demonstration." On your way home, you're sure to stop and hug a few trees before jumping back on your 100% smog-free bicycle (complete with the "I break from beached whales" sticker). After a delicious lunch of tofu and egg beaters, you must pause to meditate, worship mother earth, and re-contemplate the ef ...

Democrats For LifeNov 21, 2014
My grandparents lived through the Great Depression and were forever grateful to FDR for bringing the country through. When I asked them why they were Democrats, they said it was because of FDR. If, in a generation or 2, someone asks a Latino why are they are Democrats, how much do want to bet they will say because of Obama? Note:  I don't think that FDR or Obama took they actions they did to build a political party, they just did what they believed was right.  I will be a ...

Life Is GrandMay 10, 2017
Former President Barack Obama traveled to Italy this week to make a speech on climate change at the “Seed & Chips: The Global Food Innovation Summit” in the city of Milan. It seems like Obama has taken a page out of Leonardo DiCaprio's book of “do as I say, not as I do” and took a private jet to Milan. Not only that, he had a 14 car convoy to get into the city, which also included protection from above with a helicopter. More at link... ...

VP Pence Is Pro-life? Jun 26, 2017
A mother's words to VP Pence on the Republican health care plan:  (Excerpt)   "Personal responsibility, Mr. Pence? What exactly are you referring to here? Because I really don't know how my six year old, who is non-verbal, non-ambulatory, exclusively tube fed, vision impaired and medically fragile, who relies on me and a handful of other caregivers for literally everything, is supposed to take personal responsibility for his own health. You know, since it was his f ...

Prayer Request For New Job And LifeMar 01, 2011
I had taken a medical transcription course and graduated with a certificate of honors 2 years ago. I never found a job in the field despite all of the hard work and effordt I put into it. I ended up getting a PRN job in the medical field doing something different: performing hearing screens on newborn babies at the hospital. I found a job as an audiology tech at a bigger hospital and I would be doing this full time! I was selected for the position (yay!) and have to pass all of these tests to st ...

Do You Ever Feel Like You Are Living In Another LifeAug 05, 2011
