[ In Reply To ..]I do not know why we have to go through this whole civil rights thing again with Trevone Martin and now this poor young man, who is not really all that innocent. You seem to forget the video of how he intimidated and stole from the shop owner.
At any rate, I have been through the Civil Rights issues in the past. I don't know why any black or white would want to revisit that.
If blacks would just admit that the community and those like it have real problems within their communities, perhaps then we could all work to help see to it that these horrible tragedies do not happen.
Again, it is like we are going to fight the Civil Rights thing all over again. I have many wonderful black friends and Mr. O has distanced some of us by his presidency. This is what he wants to happen again. I hope the blacks do not take the bait.
I would guess most of the protesters are not from that area and have come there to get their 15 minutes of fame for whatever group they represent. I hope they do not get the people of Ferguson to buy into their propaganda.
Al Sharpton is an agitator. Some of these Civil Rights people have nothing to do now that Civil Rights has been passed and we all have moved on.
It is true that there are still some black issues that should not be, but for the most part I think our enemies are the illegals which both blacks and whites will have to stick together to fight against.
At any rate, I hope this is not a blood bath. I hope that no innocent children get caught in gunfire.
I sure would not want to be a police officer in Ferguson or in Detroit. Honestly, we all have to begin moving ahead whatever race we are or we stagnate and end up with war again between races. Some people want that, but I sure don't. I know that we have already come a long way from the 50s and 60s when I can remember the awful things that happened, killing of the three little girls in a church, hangings of civil rights workers, etc.
Oh, please God, don't let this happen to our two races. We will need to hang together soon in order to protect the freedoms we have and not let the invasion continue of people, not just from Mexico but all over the world from coming here illegally including terrorits.
