The jury believed the defense's story that it was an accident, and her father and her hid it and covered it up. He said there was a lot of belief that it was a horrible accident by the jury and they believe her dad was helping cover it up. ;
How, why did they believe her dad would cover up - drowning? Idiots on jury.

I think it was a sloppy lazy jury who were tired of being sequestered, wanted to go home and didn't even consider lesser charges so they just found her not guilty and called it a day.

[ In Reply To ..]She killed her, how we may never know, and then put her in the trunk, then took her to the backyard, tried to dig a hole like when they buried pets, found it too hard to dig (reason death dogs went to the playhouse, body was on the ground for a few minutes) and then put her back in the trunk and threw her away like garbage down the road. No way it was an accident. Someone WOULD have called 911 if she drown in the pool. Dr. G was correct. There is NEVER a reason to put duct tape on a baby, dead or alive! The justice system is worthless. Now Casey will get tons of money to sell her story. What a hell of a world in which we live. Very sad.

I think she was a terrible mother and probably killed her daughter, but the thing is that I can only say "probably" because I can't be 100% sure and I think that is probably where the jury was. As much as most people want a lynching, perhaps the jury made the right decision. They did not say she was innocent, simply found that there was a reasonable doubt. I think that they were right, as much as I hate to see her get off.

To add to that, I don't understand why is it NOT child abuse when you don't report your child missing for 31 days. Isn't that considered endangering the child?

This is so messed up.
I also don't believe the Anthony's are getting death threats (reported by the Anthony's attorney). Who are these stupid people making the threats? Have they been arrested? If not, why not? It would take the FBI about 5 or 10 minutes to find out who made the threats. I think the attorney threw that out there for the sympathy factor. They want people to feel sorry for them and leave them alone.

Those jurors will be smart to not give interviews or give their names to the public. But they are IDIOTS so maybe they will crawl out of their hole for an interview. If they are watching coverage of people's thoughts on their verdict, I think they may have some regret. Also if they are able to see a bigger picture of Casey Anthony, like the check fraud charges, they may regret not finding her guilty of a lesser charge to keep this psychopath off the streets.
