The level of corruption in this country has reached

To say nothing of sheer incompetence and malfeasance in office, which are separate and apart from the corruption.

As the current election cycle has revealed, the power brokers, politicians and bureaucrats on both sides are equally guilty.

You and I have no idea who is pulling the strings in the country because most of them have names that none of us would likely recognize, but I know this:  The Great and Powerful Oz standing behind the curtain, representing the elite power structure, is far from the benign figure that we saw in the movie.

It is dark, and it is malignant, having no devotion whatsoever to the welfare of this nation.

With few exceptions, I will be voting against every incumbent this cycle including Clinton, of course.  As thoroughly corrupt as she is, she probably is not the worst of the shadowy actors behind the scenes.  We cannot get at them directly, unfortunately, or there would likely be another French Revolution, complete with guillotine.  But we can cut the strings to their elected political puppets by voting them all out of office and hoping that perhaps some small percentage of the new batch will not be as corruptible.
