Oh, boo-hoo! Things may not get better under O, - (mainly due to a Pub Congress), but - sm

at least we won't be set back 50 years, like we would've under Mitt's administration. Glad most of the nation didn't fall for all that snake oil. Under O, at least there is a glimmer of hope that the hemorrhage of offshoring will at least slow down. Under R, there would likely be nothing left for this country's citizens to do for a "living" except low-paying service jobs.
And here's a little ray of sunshine for all you grumpy, sore-loser pub-types: What you do best is complain, blame, point fingers, and discriminate. At least you'll have 4 more years to enjoy doing what you do best.
"Things may not get better under O", but.....(sm) - LM

I see you're already giving yourself an easy out and blaming it on the pubs - you Liberals are a riot and a half - Mitt would have given us back jobs. Boeing already announced today they are laying off 30,000. Remember them? Obama promised them if they held off with the announcement until after the election (and that's against the law, but he doesn't worry about the law), that HE would pay their legal fees. That translates to us. We will pay the legal fees. I see you are still smearing yourself with that Obama snake oil.
LOL - See? You're back at the blame-game already! - Now admit it - arent you enjoying it?
I am not enjoying one thing about this day. Not one thing. - LM (sm)

I'm scared my little granddaughter and parents will leave this country if it becomes a dictatorship, and I fear that is what is coming. I cried this morning. Now I have to go on and stop crying, but enjoying? No. Not a bit.
Where will you go? - curious

All the civilized, industrialized nations are probably what you would consider socialistic, right?
"Mitt" didn't promise 1 single job. Those 12 million he mentioned - are Obama-era creations. That was a CLUE
[ In Reply To ..]
you were supposed to pick up on. Not one additional job created by new Romney policies was promised. NOT ONE.
Continued suction of national wealth to his class was promised to people he knew would accept it docilely. That was a clue too. He just told you it wouldn't cost you anything--and that was the biggest lie of all.
He displayed his disregard for typical working people, portraying us as weaklings who wanted to be carried by others. That was a clue you were supposed to pick up on.
His serious lack of understanding of national economies by wanting to let our major-export automobile industry disappear.
He felt sick people were adequately taken care of by dumping at a local ER, that poor people were adequately taken care of "somehow."
You were supposed to look at all these clues, and many others, and realize he didn't have what it takes to be President of our nation.
I wish I could leave you personally to what you like to think you have lost, but a rising tide raises all boats. So you get to have your malice and progressive improvements in your economic condition as well. Of course no one will be looking for thanks or appreciation from you, much less even the basic respect one typical working person might be thought to owe another.
"Mitt would have given us jobs". This is what - you said. SM

This is what Mitt said as well. He never said how he would do that. Do you have any idea how he would have done that? He also said "good paying jobs". WHAT? Where would these jobs come from? If he meant deregulating Wall Street and corporations would cause them to employ more people, that has been proven to not be true during Bush's term. Trickle down? Doesn't work. Any other ideas where these jobs would come from other than that farce?
