Or this lovely Sparta NJ couple, John Sandeberg and Christina Terraccino, who moved $800,000 of the $1 million they collected for their Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation, which never could quite manage to qualify for non-exempt status with the IRS.  

Then there's tragedy deniers, victim harrassers, hoaxters and conspiracy theorists, every bit as detestable.  Like

Kevin Piurfield, an Oregon loon who called at least a dozen Aurora shooting victim family members, claiming the shooting "didn't happen" and accusing the Aurora police of a "coverup," that Sandy Hook and Aurora were really staged events by federal government-sponsored "crisis actors."  Not much of a mystery where he gets these ideas from.  

Perhaps from sites like this, brimming with all of the latest "scandals" and conspiracy theories, ranting incessantly about how the government is coming for their guns, and taking their place amonst all the others in the hucksters and scammers gallery.
