When a grand jury "no bill's" a case, - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
it goes away FOREVER. Coakley's prosecutors won grand jury indictments once there was sufficient evidence. Missing from this report is information explaining why it took 2 years between the bail hearing, trial and sentencing phase. Fact is, the rapist landed in prison with 2 life sentences.

Sorry. For me, this is in no way comparable to the willful suffering Palin, Steve Brown and the 30 senators feel driven to inflict on rape victims in the name of Christian morality.

Yeah, sure, just keep fooling yourself into thinking - Coakley is a CARING politician.lol.nm

What makes you think her opponents CARE about anything else other than winning the Senate race and subtracting 1 seat from the current 60-seat democratic majority?
Hopefully, they will succeed, cause we need a CHANGE.nm - Dallas

For all those who wish Coakley the worst - sm

You might have a better chance of defeating her if you could find a candidate who aligns a tad more toward the center and does not promote initiatives that favor fiscal conservation and morality legislation over rape victims access to medical care and prosecutorial evidence.
I dont wish her the worst. I just hope she loses, although - in the end, will probably win.

It would help if she was at least a likable, warm person. Also, I watched the debate with her the other day, and she could not answer several questions. If she does lose, I am sure it will be Bush's fault, though.
So you would rather split hairs and mince words - sm

than address the issue of Scott Brown and his legislative initiatives. Gee, I wonder why?
Nobody EVER said they wish her the worst - Please stop making things up

Sorry but the pity party is not going cut it. Nobody posting on this topic wishes her the worst. We just hope she will lose because she is a bad person for the job. Where you get that we wish her the worst?...well who only knows.

I've read about her, her history, what she has done for jobs, her career, etc, and I read about Scott Brown (history, what he has done for jobs, career, etc.) I read it on the Boston.com site and I believe it to be a fair assessment of both. Just told the facts without giving opinion.

After reading that I have to say that I feel Scott Brown is the better candidate for the position. I especially like that he has experience being in the service. There is nothing in Coakley's biography that leads me to believe she is qualified for the position or even a good human being.

From what I've read about her from other sites as well, in my opinion she does not care about anybody but her own self and career. I happen to believe Brown is a better candidate and human being. He has shown compassion throughout his career. Something I do not get from reading about Coakley.

So...just to re-iterate here.... Nobody wishes her the worst. We just hope she loses so that the state will be better a better place.
Scott Brown, the compassionate - Stop making things up.

He voted again funding for stem sell research that holds the promise of providing cures and treatments for some of our most dreaded diseases. In 2006 and again in 2008, he voted against a bill to provide health care to elderly and disabled special status immigrants, a group which includes permanent residents, refugees, asylees, parolees (a status granted by Homeland Security for emergency and humanitarian reasons), individuals and their children who have been victims of domestic violence, Cubans and Haitians, Filipino, Loatian and certain active duty personnel veterans, their spouses and children and victims of severe forms of human trafficking. He voted against funding for a bill providing access to health care that would require fair share contributions by employers on behalf of employees. Nice guy. I will concede that his centerfold in Cosmo showcases a nice six-pack.

Americans are waking up to some of the garbage.
No need to twist a well documented, black and white - voting record that speaks for itself.

he got himself elected because he organized a brilliant campaign, motivated and energized 53% of the population to reject W's status quo by articulating an inspiring, far-reaching and progressive vision for America. His appeal evidenty struck a chord with the majority who were left dehydrated and starving for optimism and hope by the previous 8 years of gloom and doom.
He probably would not get elected today since Americans - are realizing the huge mistake they made.nm

How's the whole hopey changey thing workin'? Doesn't seem to have accomplished much, just a lot of empty promises and secrecy.

in the eyes of the beholder. For those who cannot or will not open themselves up to it, it will remain that hopey changey thing that harbors fear and doubt. Others who embrace those concepts will find peace, gain insight and strengthen their faith in the next few years ahead.
Well thats all Coakley is responsible for - anon

She does not care anything about the people in her state. Only getting that seat to keep the current 60-seat crat majority.

I hope she loses.
Oops...meant that is all she "cares" about - anon

I hope she loses as well. Just another dirty politician - and hope the people send a message.nm

A number of members have stated their opposition to a strike, but Fudge's spokeswoman, Ayofemi Kirby, said the congresswoman simply wanted to make sure members had all the information available before making up their minds. The older brother never applied.  He probably wouldn't have been able to lawfully own a gun anyway because of his previous charge in 2009.
