Go into advanced settings and compare all the different ones. The GOP plan is stunning in its simplicity, and the House and Senate plans are full of rules, regulations, and TAXES/FINES!

whatever the O/Pelosi/Reid plan has to offer. There is no compromise on their side, as with the Obama care plan that was posted in my newspaper last night. No changes with the senate plan that was suggested.
The idea of the so-called meeting tomorrow is a waste of time, as is being on this board. Liberals and dems on this board do not want to hear anything other than the the dems plan lan and fully support it. It doesn't matter that the plan will cost generation to come in excesive taxes and forcible health care.
I purposely did not come to this board for a week or so to see if anything changed regarding POLITICAL DISCUSSION. It did not. It trashes anyone's opinion unless it is not for the dems and definetely trashes any pub. It definitely shows that this board is a liberal board. You cannot have a discussion that is one-sided, so until a sensible discussion is held, and not my-way-or-the-highway discussion is held, I'm gone.....and I don't think anyone would miss me anyway.

BTW, someone stated in a post that you cannot get good info from the 'net or TV. If not, then where? Definitely not from the government site! It's been lie after lie. The government is good at that and I'm ot just talking about this administration...I'm talking about ALL of them for the past 20 or so years.
If your government lies to you, where is the faith in what you believe in? Research and picking apart each article before you jump to conclusions. That's what you have to do. You have to use your brain.
Done venting.
I am right there with you BT - you really got that one right - just me/hmmm

I have come here too and posted a couple things anonymously as I knew if I put my usual moniker I would be trashed. So since there are many anon's that post it's the safest way to post. I visit every once in awhile but not as frequently as I used to, and you are correct, nothing has changed, except the bashing is worse than ever. Gone are the days of people having a decent conversation here or getting any kind of information. The board is most definitely a liberal board and the few poor republicans/conservatives/independents that do post are ganged up on. There is no compromise, and each time I come here there is always a new nasty about a republican.
I too am tired of the my-way-or-the-highway mentality here, and Lord help those who have a difference of opinion.
P.S. - We will miss you here if you don't come back, but I'm with you - - just me/hmmm - see message

I'm out of here unless thing change. Either a separate conservative and democrat board so that people can have conversations without getting bashed because they have a difference of opinion, or if people become civilized. Otherwise, I just don't need the bashing anymore.

The meeting is a waste of time. Mr. Boner proclaims his desire to "crash" the meeting (in spite of being invited) to prevent Obama from having a success. Repubs even demanding control of seating plans. The repubs have no spirit of working for people, just grandstanding to please the fringe.
I'd laugh but this is so sad - anon

That anyone would actually believe this horse hockey. It still amazes me that people can thing this way "prevent Obama from having a success". Oh please...
The democrats have not been working with the republicans in the congress. They are power hungry it's my way or the highway attitude. The democrats have not listened to anything the republicans have to offer even when they have some good ideas on issues. The democrats just want to (and have been) running free with the checkbook, not inviting the republicans to decision making meeting that they should be.
The democrats need to learn that there are republicans in congress who are representing their constituents trying to work for the people they represent. Instead the democrats don't want to hear it and don't care what the people of America want. They "think" they have power and can do whatever they want.
Then when Senator "Boehner" listens to the people of the country and tries to do the right thing and work with them for the better of the country, the democrats turn around and whine.
The republicans have been working for the people. Or have you been asleep at the wheel. The republicans are the ones listening to the people and trying to vote on what will benefit the people. The democrats in congress are the ones not hearing anything of it with their closed door meetings and backroom money deals.
There is nothing in your post I agree with because it's a lame attempt at deflecting what is going on in Washington.
I suggest - trimp

Is Health Care Reform Constitutional?Mar 22, 2010According to what I have been reading today, NO. The government cannot force us to buy health insurance:
"But the individual mandate extends the commerce clause's power beyond economic activity, to economic inactivity. That is unprecedented. While Congress has used its taxing power to fund Social Security and Medicare, never before has it used its commerce power to mandate that an individual person engage in an economic transaction with a private company. Health Insurance Is A Poor Measure Of Health Care.Sep 14, 2011On Tuesday, the Census Bureau released its annual report on health insurance coverage in the United States. News media widely misconstrued the data and presented the problems facing the nation's health care system through a distorted lens.
Many major news outlets made a basic error when reporting on the Census Bureau study. The Los Angeles Times wrote that "the number of Americans with no health insurance rose in 2010 to 49.9 million from 49 million the year before." But the figure c ...

Health Reform Bill Includes $250M For New Abstinence-only ProgramsMar 29, 2010(As you can see, this was not a Democratic initiative. So much for Democrats banning Republican ideas.)
By Gavin DahlSunday, March 28th, 2010 -- 4:57 pm
Buried in the landmark health care bill passed by Democrats is $250 million over 5 years for state programs to try to convince young people to wait until marriage for sex.
Proponents of abstinence-only education are thrilled, but there is little evidence this money will be effective in fighting pregnancy or HIV.

A few hours later, the perennially copper-faced Republican leader John Boehner revved up his “Hell no, you can’t!” incantation in the House chamber — ...
