"The fight against ISIS is our war" -- Pataki

Posted: May 20, 2015

Insists it will be a short-lived war --- Where, where have we heard that?  Are they ever going to learn?

So let's talk about the withdrawal plan before they even think about committing troops to that mess.

;

No, I think it's Barry's war on the Jayvee team. - And innocents pay the price.

Things would not have escalated had he not discounted ISIS (as well as the situation in Yemen) and had he not pulled prematurely out of Iraq against the advice of military advisers, all of whom certainly knew and still know better than him, the community organizer extraordinaire.

OBAMA has done so much damage, we can blame - him, as Obama blames others for

the next 50 years for the mess Obama/Clinton have created.

After these two, I will not vote for another Demoncrat. They have totally lost all semblance of intelligence, and are so far left they make Hitler look like an altar boy (which he was at one time).

ISIS never made any bones about what they were going to do to the USA, and Farouk Obama just did not give a damn and still doesn't. Can't stand to even look at that spineless empty suit.

That Syrian border before the Iraq war and - IMANMT2

during was so porous you couldn't even see all the traffic at night let alone stop it (had a lot in common with Afghanistan/Pakistan border) but people didn't stay or move in big groups. It was Sadaam and his sociopathic son with psychotic tendencies, Ouday, that kept people out. We did destabilize the region by waging that war and removing the despot that scared the bejesus out of everybody in the area. So, technically, we are responsible but I don't see where waging another similar war is going to be anymore successful in bringing peace to THAT region. We need to note the lessons this war has taught us and try not to repeat them again, and again, and again, no matter who would profit from it. But I think escalation is inevitable - someone will get that done. Isn't this how Vietnam got it's slow, surreptitious start? Advisors, elite groups, aympathy for refugees, then boots on the ground. The only thing we learned from Vietnam was No Draft and get the American public hot for war before you declare it. So, look for the nightly news ramp-up with special attention to Elizabeth Vargas and Diane Sawyer types, because they were very instrumental in swaying public opinion during the run-up to the Iraq War. Someone should bestow a Gold Star on them for their invaluable contribution.

"Those who don't learn from history are - doomed to repeat it."

And yes, when are the war-mongers ever going to learn? What war since WWII that we've been involved in have we actually WON? Zero?

US Blocking Shipments Of Arms To Help Kurds Fight ISISJul 02, 2015
If so, why is the United States blocking shipments of heavy armaments to the Kurds? They should be our best friends in the Muslim world and have demonstrated their capacity as excellent fighters with boots on the ground in fighting ISIS. Which, not so incidentally, wants to kill their men and make sex slaves of their women. The administration's inability to “degrade and destroy ISIS,” or even to “contain” the terror plague, as President Obama so inappropriately claimed just last Friday, is an embarrassment. While inept guidance from Obama and his shrinking circle of confidants has caused headline-worthy failures in Syria, pushback from military commanders has been silenced by a distrustful White House th ...

The American people spoke decisively against a big government, high tax, Washington knows best, pro-trial lawyer centralized bureaucratic health system. In every recent poll the vast majority of Americans opposed this monstrosity. Speaker Pelosi knew the country was against the bill. That is why she kept her members trapped in Washington and forced a vote on Sunday. She knew if she let the members go home their constituents would convince them to vote no. Obama Faces Potential Rifts With Democrats In Mounting Immigration FightAug 17, 2014
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is facing potential rifts with members of his own party in tough re-election contests as he barrels toward a fall fight with Republicans over his ability to change immigration policies.
