Tell me again who made the GZ/TM case political. (sm)

In case you don't know or are still in denial, it was our very own Eric Holder and the Dept of Justice.

You are talking about the Community Relations Service (CRS), which is a unit of the Department of Justice:

The Community Relations Service was established by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The CRS is the DOJ's ‘peacemaker’ for community conflicts and tensions arising from differences of race, color, and national origin.

CRS is the only Federal agency dedicated to assist State and local units of government, private and public organizations, and community groups with preventing and resolving racial and ethnic tensions, incidents, and civil disorders, and in restoring racial stability and harmony.

Just don't expect to have any credibility on that incite and divide thing. A party who believes all they need is white support is doomed for obsolescence, sooner rather than later, especially since they couldn't even scrape up enough of it to win national elections in 2008 and 2012.

I'm on your side. I was trying to explain to the two posters above that the CRS was not taking sides in an active trial, as no charges had been brought and there was not yet a case.

I was hoping to dispel the false impression that the Community Relations Service somehow takes sides in court cases.

Rather, the CRS was in Sanford performing their role as "‘peacemaker’ for community conflicts and tensions arising from differences of race, color, and national origin."

I posted above about the Civil Rights Act of 1964; I authored "took the challenge" (regarding the CRS and black-on-white crime). I am also the poster of "proof-sm."

One huge problem here is no one knows who threw the first punch. We only have the defendant/shooter's story who's fighting for his life since he killed a kid. The dead high-school junior who had every right to walk through that courtyard on his way home from the store without being shot to death is not here to tell his side. No one is disputing that a scuffle happened, but as scuffles generally go, it's not inconceivable that either party at any given point in time may or may not have been "on top." There is NOTHING conclusive about the defense story which has a truck load of, shall we say, inconsistencies, that the state has not shied away from calling lies.

Then there is the problem of what happened BEFORE the fight. That would be the uncontested fact that the perp was recorded in the 911 call when he profiled the kid as a suspicious criminal, just like all others who "always get away," and stalked him on a dark rainy night after being specifically told not to by the police. I think the kid who was being stalked by the creep had every right to be afraid, and since, again, we do not know who threw the first punch, it would stand to reason that he, too, felt the need to defend himself against a stranger who admittedly never identified himself or stated his business.

BTW, no ethnic group, mixed or not, has a monopoly on prejudice. **wink wink**
You need to read the documents. (sm) - I'm not the one that's "off."

DOJ sends secret âpeacekeepersâ where Trayvon Martin was killed

Last Updated: July 10, 2013
Synopsis

Judicial Watch, Inc. on April 24, 2012 launched an investigation into the Trayvon Martin case based on reports that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) had sent a secret team of âpeacekeepersâ to Sanflord, Florida, where Martin was shot on February 26, 2012 after wandering in a gated community after dark. George Zimmerman, a resident of the community and its neighborhood watch captain, is currently on trial for Martinâs death though he maintains he acted in self-defense.

Records obtained by Judicial Watch in response to local, state and federal public records requests show that the so-called peacekeepers are part of a large and growing division within DOJ called the Community Relations Service (CRS). Though CRS purports to spot and quell racial tensions nationwide before they arise, the documents obtained by Judicial Watch show the group actively worked to foment unrest, spending thousands of taxpayer dollars on travel and hotel rooms to train protestors throughout Florida. The peacekeepers also met with officials of the Republican National Convention, scheduled for several months later in Tampa, to warn them to expect protests in connection with Martinâs death.

CRS employee spent $1,142.84 to travel to Sanford, Florida from March 25-28, 2012 âto work marches, demonstrations, and ralliesâ;

CRS employee spent $751.60 to travel to Sanford, Florida from March 30-April 1, 2012 âto provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31â;

CRS employee spent $1,307.40 to travel to Sanford, Florida from April 3-12, 2012 âto provide technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanfordâ;

CRS employee spent $672.24 to travel to Tampa, Florida from April 18-20, 2012 âto meet with RNC official related to possible protests and demonstrations during the RNCâ

In response to a Florida Sunshine Law request to the City of Sanford, Judicial Watch also obtained an audio recording of a âcommunity meetingâ held at Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford on April 19, 2012. The meeting, which opens with a gospel hymn and organ music, is reported to have led to the official ouster of Sanfordâs Police Chief Bill Lee. A week earlier, a group calling themselves the âDream Defendersâ had barricaded the entrance to the police department demanding he be fired for failing to file murder charges against Zimmerman. The church meeting produced a nine-point plan, the main demand being the firing of Chief Lee.

[ In Reply To ..]
made no definitive connection between the church meeting and CRS participation nor did they define the nature of the "work" a singular employee (as in a grand total of one) did relative to the marches, demonstration and rallies (Mar 25-28)?

I see no specifics about what kind of "technical assistance" a singular employee (as in one) provided Mar 30-Apr 1 to event organizers and LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES (perhaps consulting?) in preparation for the (already) scheduled march and rally on March 31.

Again, we have no specifics on the "technical assistance, (gasp) CONCILIATION, and onsite MEDIATION" during the (already) planned Sanford demonstrations the singular employee (as in one) provided April 3-12.

Finally, we have no records reflecting the nature of the meeting a singular CRS employee (as in one) had with the RNC April 18-20, 2012.

Sigh. Is it my imagination, or is there an unmistakable pattern here of supposition, presumption, innuendo and speculation (AGAIN), void of fact or substance, on the part of the (in their own mission statement) CONSERVATIVE yet NONPARTISAN (LOL) Judicial Watch, et al?

What we have here is whole lotta nothin' goin' on.

Sigh. Is it my imagination, or is there an unmistakable - Libby

pattern here of Zimmerman's supposition, presumption, innuendo and speculation (AGAIN) void of fact or substance with Zimmerman's statements about Martin before Zimmerman became judge, jury and executioner of a young man who did not deserve to die simply because of Zimmerman's obvious extreme racism?
Yes, it is your immagination - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
As another poster here said "lets get one thing straight".

This was not a racial case. This was a simple case of a neighborhood that was having a series of break-ins. Mr. Zimmerman was part of a neighborhood watch group because of this. He saw a guy wandering around the neighborhood. He HAD THE RIGHT to find out what this guy was doing there. A fight broke out. The guy was on top of Mr. Zimmerman beating him up. Mr. Zimmerman HAD THE RIGHT to protect himself. It had nothing to do with race until this administration made it so. Also news stations were calling Mr. Zimmerman "white", when he is indeed Hispanic. I guess it was too much for them to admit they were wrong, so now we have a whole new race called white hispanic. CNN should change their name from CNN to WTH (what the heck - except replace heck with an F) (P.S. in case you feel the need to report me, it okay to say what the heck). This administration and their minion news groups have done a fine job of turning this case into a racial broo-ha-ha (sp?) when none should be used. Guy gets beat up, self defense. Plain and simple.
*************. These ************* always get away. - sm

How many of those 46 suspicious people GZ reported to the police were white? Why did the defense testify about the one black burglary/robbery suspect apprehended from the property that was later released, AS IF that were some kind of justification for GZ's profiling of Trayvon Martin?

This case is not racial? Don't be ridiculous.
