who knows how far away. A few days later 100 close supporters from his home town of less than 800 people gathered to support his re-election. Not too shabby. That is a lot of people from a very small area. He must have some local support.

News flash. Reids supporters do not follow the WTG itinerary - and feel no need to counter such utter nonsense.

With all its hype, that's not a very impressive number, is it? The 12.5% of local town folks who showed up to support Reid (after all, dems didn't exactly feel compelled to mount a nationwide campaign to dignify the WTC stopover) represents a percentage that is 3,862,793.5 times larger than what the WTG nationwide effort could muster.

'' or "we need to take them out." That is some pretty over the top, pot stirring rhetoric and to put a bunch of stirred up people, some of which are going to take above statements very literally, and are packing guns?????? Asking for someone to get hurt or killed. And guess what, if it happens there, it could be a republican, and I don't want ANYONE to get hurt over this.

Bottom line, I would much rather have an egg thrown at me than spend one minute is this group of people in this setting.

[ In Reply To ..]
They obviously align themselves with the tpots if they are showing up in support of and speaking at their events. Why else would they showcase tea party rallies in their own fundraising videos? This is easily illustrated by the connection made between the two groups in the media. For example:

Oath Keepers Militia -- Part of Tea Party
http://americanaffairs.suite101.com/article.cfm/oath-keepers-militia----part-of-tea-party#ixzz0kWb5rf6U

Bill Parson talks about his Oath & Oath Keepers at Searchlight Tea Party
http://oathkeepers.org/oath/2010/03/30/bill-parson-talks-about-his-oath-oath-keepers-at-searchlight-tea-party/

Hereâs another militia that aligns with tpots
Michigan Militia Plans âOpen Carryâ Gun TEA PARTY to âTake the Stigma Out of the Word Militiaâ Notice they do not identify themselves with dems, pubs or independents.
http://thinkprogress.org/2010/04/05/michigan-militia-teaparty/

I do not have the time or the inclination to go through over 1,000,000 hits on Google that came up in the âoath keepers tea partyâ search, but I think you get the general drift. Just keep in mind. Actions speak louder than words. Charles Alan Wilson (arrested for death threatening Senator Murray) went out of his way in his statement to declare he is not a tpot, never mind that that the FBI had recorded phone calls that indicate otherwise, straight from Wilsonâs own mouth.
Michigan Militia is an entirely different group - Backwards Typist
[ In Reply To ..]
They are not the Oath Keepers/Stewart Rhodes nor the real Oath Keepers. Just because the Michigan Militia said tea party does not make this group part of the Tea Party Movement.

I am going to my daughter's for a tea party. Does that mean I'm joining the Tea Party? No, it means I'm going to a tea party that my daughter is holding. We're going to have tea and scones.

BTW, I'm not delusional. I can read, and I also posted below that there are TWO Oath Keeper organizations, so don't get them confused. The one is the Real Oath Keepers, who are denying any alignment with the Oath Keepers/Stewart Rhodes.

Go to both sites and read their manuals. See if you agree with any of them.

BTW, Bill Parsons, running for office in NV is affliated with the Stewart Rhodes Oath Keeper org and did speak at the Tea Party in NV.
You still dont get it. They are all identifying themselves - with the tpot movement, whether
[ In Reply To ..]
you can see it or not. They do not have to be card-carrying members to be part of the movement. They share ideologies, a fact that is tacitly blatent. Different means to the same end, but for how long is anybody's guess, at the rate violent thugs are stepping forward to do their dirty deeds in the name of God-knows-what political cause.

What you are not realizing here is that your technicalities, denials and distinctions between these groups do not apply in the real world where most of the public perceives these folks as being cut from the same cloth and one in the same. Perception is everything, or hadn't you noticed?

Wake up. The ugly movement is getting uglier as it attracts the fringe of the fringe and ratchets up rhetoric to the point of (what was it they said last night in the report of one of the tpot rallies?) making elected official "scared to leave their homes."

Mark my words. This is not going to end up in a good place. I just hope and pray that no one get assassinated along the way.

Isn't that what you are doing?

I definitely noticed that the public, certain representatives of our country, and the media LUMP everyone into a group. Tea party is one.

Now, why do you suppose they do that? Olberman and Maddow bring this to mind. They laughed at the TP, called them all kind of names from the very beginning, never took them serious, pointed out the few rotten apples in the group that may not have even been a TP MEMBER (note the word member) and hammered that into the heads of the faithful. They lumped any radical as being a part of that group. After all, the TPs were always in an open area where anyone could join in. Did you ever think about that?

I'm not sure, but I think the TP had April 19 chosen before the Oath Keepers/Stewart Rhodes decided to get in on the action. I don't think the real Oath Keepers are involved and the Michigan Militia is probably as radical as the Oath Keepers/Stewart Rhodes.

Radicals are just that. They will infiltrate and give a group a bad name 'just because'.
