Reid has the clout but wouldn't produce

Reid's blaming the Republicans for the fiscal cliff, but he's the one in charge. How can the Republicans block something that's not even drafted?
"As of Monday, the federal government has operated without a formal budget for three and a half years.
"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid 'last adopted a budget on April 29th, 2009,' according to a Monday press release from the Senate Budget Committee’s Republican staff.
“'A budget requires only 51 votes to pass and yet the Majority has refused to even meet its legal obligation to draft one,' said the release."

Yeah, and Reid tries to deflect blame - away from himself

by saying the House is "Being Operated With A Dictatorship Of The Speaker." He should talk, of all people.
Reid is a waste. He has no ideas, never balanced - any budget, and blames others... thug. nm

Stop telling people they lose their credibility - just because you don't agree - sm

Nobody has lost any credibility because they gave their opinion about a politician. "Thug" is a term often used about people in politics. In fact I read a post once by Huff talking about Thug politics. To me a thug is people in the mob, people who threaten and bully other people. Reid and many other politicians and people involving in politics fall into that category.
So everyone, please stop writing that posters "lose their credibility". According to whom? You? NOBODY has lost any credibility for saying things the way they are.
lol! (my OPINION) - ...

I tend to dislike namecalling. It brings a potentially good argument to a numbing standstill. How about YOU STOP telling people what the limits of their credibility should be. Too funny.
Then say you dislike name calling instead of telling someone - "not credible" - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Since I didn't tell anyone what the limits of their credibility is there is nothing for me to stop.
These posts are getting out of hand with people saying others are not credible just because a poster wrote something they don't agree with.
If you don't like name calling then just say so, instead of the faux "you're not credible", but then again the name calling is directed at the conservatives too. Am sure you don't have a problem with that now.
Buh bye...have yourself a nice day.
The messages lacking credibility are both obviously - false and very spiteful. sm
[ In Reply To ..]
People who post those things shoulemselvesd remember that everyone here reads and not be surprised when malicious lies are called out for what they are.
In case those posters have managed to fool themselves about what's going on--Congress has two parts, the Senate and the House, and legislation must pass through both. (Harry Reid is Senate Majority Leader.)
Correction - there was nothing about her message - that lacked credibility
[ In Reply To ..]
Again, just because you don't agree with someone does not mean their message is not credible.
As far as Reid and many other politicians. Yes, they are thugs. No, they do nothing to help the people who "supposedly" voted them in. Yes, they are only concerned with enriching themselves. Yes, they obstruct. No, they will not vote for something that is good for the people if a person in the opposite party comes up with the good idea. Yes, they come right out and tell you that.
Once again, the person who gave their opinion about what they thought of Reid is credible.
you are instructing me a second time? - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Knock it off already and stop looking for a fight. When people characterize those they disagree with as "thugs", they lose credibility with me. There is nothing "faux" about it. If it strains credibility for me, who are you to tell me otherwise?
Not instructing - just my opinion I was giving - and don't tell me what to do
[ In Reply To ..]
I gave my opinion. You knock off looking for a fight.
I'm telling you my opinion - again - Let me restate. Just because you don't agree with someone does not mean they are not credibible, so you knock if off already with telling people they are not credible because you don't agree with what she said. She has as much right to state her opinion as I do with mine as you do with yours. Nobody needs to be told they are not credible because you don't like what they wrote.
BTW - Thugs is indeed a correct term. So go ahead, keep looking for a fight - I'm done here.
The poster was indeed VERY credible in what she wrote.
If you step outside the Fox bubble, you might - get more encompassing SM

anyone says anything contradictory to what some others feel and believe, it is always due to FOX news. Not everybody forms their ideas by watching that particular channel, you know. The media plays a great part in influencing what people think, feel, and say, but FOX is not the only one that is "partial." and you can't blame the media for everything. We are all responsible for our own fact seeking and thoughts about our govt and future. I wouldn't trust the media any more than I trust ANY of our present "politicians" when everything is tainted by money and power struggles. Money runs this govt...not the people. Money runs the "media" as well, and not just FOX.
I know, I know! Because no mention of Boehner and T-Party games - nm

I have been guilty of calling out Fox-watchers.
You have a point. With that acknowledged, though, if Fox News seems to get the lion's share of the blame for misinformation and creating a bubble of same, that's because so so so many people call on the name of Fox when broadcasting their misguided beliefs and backward opinions. If I had a nickel for every time I've heard some yahoo preface some choice bit of nonsense with, "Well, I seen on Fox News where...," I could buy everybody here a cup of coffee.

W.H. To Reid: Cut Deal With Lieberman Dec 16, 2009
The White House is encouraging Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) to cut a deal with Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), which would mean eliminating the proposed Medicare expansion in the health reform bill, according to an official close to the negotiations.
But Reid is described as so frustrated with Lieberman that he is not ready to sacrifice a key element of the health care bill, and first wants to see the Congressional Budget Office cost analysis of the Medicare buy-in. The analysis i ...

Can Someone Tell Me WHY Democrats, Especially Reid And ObamaSep 29, 2013are against delaying Obamacare for a year? Watching C-Span and the House has been voting on funding the government again.
